A Programmer's perspective
I work for long hours on my chair. And this has worked good enough for me. But I am definetely not well satisfied with the product. I would say this is good for working a few hours straight but not for longer durations. The front part of the seat starts to feeling weird, like the cushion is pushing forward. The overall material seems good but I doubt the same about the seat cushion. On using this chair for a week, I did not feel any discomfort in the back or neck. But it wasn't as good I expected it to be. The product almost took forever to ship. Given the covid situations that might be explainable though. I you see another review complaining about the delivery time from last year. I would reconsidered purchasing this if you need it immediately.

Looks nice but is flawed
I wanted to like this chair. It was very easy to assemble, looks great, has decent quality casters, and shipped quickly, but just isn't a pleasant sitting experience. The mesh back is excellent - if you can reach it. The seat is really long, so unless you carry most of you height in your femurs you may not be able to sit fully against the back without the seat pressing into the back of your knees. The seat also slopes down slightly from the back to the front edge of the chair, which is super uncomfortable after a few minutes. It's probably the biggest comfort flaw and makes me dread having to sit in the chair for more than 15 minutes. It's also dangerous. If you sit close to the front edge of the seat, the chair will literally slip out from under you and send you crashing to the floor, with the chair flipping over on top of you. I haven't fallen out of a chair since I was like 2 years old, but toppled out of this in the first week of owning it. Thank goodness it was at home and not in an office. The arm rests are too low to use except for bracing yourself to get in/out of the chair, but the measurements were clearly posted in the listing so I'm not going to knock any stars off for that. Overall, I don't think I can recommend this chair if you plan on sitting in it for longer stretches of time. Maybe if your only other option is sitting on a rock (although the rock is probably be more stable :p)

does the job
This is a chair for my kid to sit on while he is on the computer. Ok, it's largely his gaming chair. But he also does homework. The chair just sits in the base, so if you lift it, the base stays on the ground. Also, it's not impossible to tip over. I'm not saying it's easy, but you should be a little careful and not do crazy things. It was mildly challenging to put together but not crazy. You just have to make sure you're putting things in the right place. It's a basic chair, I would not buy it as a main office chair if you work from home 8 hours a day. but it's totally adequate as an office chair for light/occasional work, or for an older (teen) kid. (too big and roll-y for a younger child, no wheel brakes)

Probably the sturdiest and most comfortable $49 chair I've tried but..
You can see where they cut corners to get the price down, but it's still a great value. The chair back is screwed to the arms, which are screwed to the base. That's a very robust design, and a more expensive chair would have the back bolted to the base. I imagine this is where it will break if it does, because there's only two screws and a small piece of hard plastic keeping it together. You can feel the precarious nature of the design when you lean back hard. Is it still worth $49? Yes. It's probably the sturdiest and most comfortable $49 chair I've tried. If you're not looking for its shortcomings, you might think its a $100 chair.

weight limit?
in most ways it is a comfortable and nicely sized chair- but there must be a weight limit thats under 250 lbs because almost every time i sit it sinks to the lowest position- i have to readjust the height almost every single day
