best Omega supplement
this Omega is the highest potency i've seen on the market. good size of capsules, easy to swallow, no after taste or fishy smell. quite expensive but worth it's cost.

Powerful Potency Without the Fishy Aftertaste
I added the Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega 2X to my daily supplement stack, and it works well—the 2150 mg dose of high-purity fish oil is exceptionally potent, yet the lemon flavor completely masks any hint of fishiness. Because it’s in the triglyceride form, it’s easier for the body to absorb, and I noticed a difference in my focus and recovery after just a couple of weeks, confirming a solid build quality from a brand known for its strict purity standards. With 180 soft gels in the bottle, it provides a solid three-month supply, making it fantastic good value for a premium, non-GMO omega-3 supplement. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a high-concentration fish oil that is easy on the stomach and delivers clear results.

The 'Slow Burn' Effect: My 6-Month Result + A Joint Synergy Discovery
I’ve been a long-term user of the standard Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega (1280mg), but I am currently trialling this Ultimate Omega 2X (2150mg). I am on the fence about converting to this higher potency long-term for two main reasons: it is still too soon to assess if the extra 870mg of Omega-3 truly addresses my intensive needs better than the standard dose, and the premium price of this supplement is a significant jump. I will update this review in a few months once I can confirm if the results justify the higher cost. What I Like: • Exceptional Freshness ❄️: From opening the bottle to the last softgel, there was no fishy odour—a clear sign the oil had not oxidised. • High Potency Efficiency: You get the full 2150mg of Omega-3 (1125mg EPA / 875mg DHA) in just two softgels rather than swallowing 4–6 smaller capsules from other brands. • Triglyceride Form 🧬: This offers superior absorption compared to the cheaper ethyl ester versions found in many high-street brands. • Purity Standards: This brand is IFOS-certified for purity and provides a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every batch, giving me total peace of mind. • No "Fish Burps" 🍋: The light lemon flavour is pleasant and I’ve had zero digestive issues or aftertaste. Points to Consider: • The "Slow Burn" Timeline ⏳: Do not expect instant results. In my experience, it takes 3 months for skin vibrancy and mental clarity to shift, and 6 months to see fully optimised benefits. • Capsule Size 💊: The softgels are quite large, which is typical for high-potency oils. If you have difficulty swallowing larger pills, this is a major factor. • Price Point: This is a premium investment. While the quality is top-tier, the cost is significantly higher than the standard 1280mg version. • Joint Support Synergy: For my joint wellness, Omega-3 alone was not enough. However, I discovered a powerful synergy only after stacking it with UC-II Collagen. My Personal Results: • As someone with dry skin who feels sluggish during winter, the improvement in skin resilience and overall focus has been striking. ✨ 💡 Pro-tip: I store my bottle in the refrigerator to protect the high-potency oil from oxidation over several months. The Bottom Line ✅ If your goals are skin vibrancy and mental clarity, this is a premium, third-party tested investment. While the higher potency might be helpful for "winter wellness," I am still evaluating if the results justify the price for year-round use.

Expensive But Good
Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega 2X is a high-quality fish oil supplement that really stands out for its purity and effectiveness. The soft gels are easy to swallow and don’t leave any unpleasant aftertaste, which is a huge plus considering the lemon flavour keeps it feeling light and fresh. The formula feels premium — it’s highly concentrated, so you get a strong dose of omega-3s without having to take multiple capsules a day. It’s also in the triglyceride form, which is known for better absorption, and that seems to make a noticeable difference in how quickly it starts to have an effect. The packaging is sturdy, and the soft gels stay in perfect condition, even after regular use. It gives a strong impression of a brand that values quality and transparency. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for anyone looking to boost their omega-3 intake with a trusted, clean, and effective supplement.

Exceptionally Pure Omega 3, Excellent Quality but Expensive
I have been using this omega 3 supplement for a while now and the overall experience has been very positive. The soft gels are easy to take and the lemon flavour genuinely prevents any unpleasant aftertaste. Digestion has been comfortable, with no fishy "wind", which is often a sign of a cleaner, better processed oil. I've used plenty of different omega 3 supplements as I do have a history of heart disease in my family, even though I am quite young. What stands out most is the strength per serving. The dosage is significantly higher than many mainstream omega 3 supplements, which makes it suitable for those who want a meaningful intake rather than a minimal maintenance dose. It feels like a product aimed at people who are serious about supplementation, whether for general wellbeing or more targeted support. The most beneficial omega-3s are EPA and DHA, and this product provides a combined 2020 mg per serving, made up of 1120 mg EPA and 900 mg DHA. THIS IS A LOT of omega 3, undeniably good quality oil and also the lemon taste is a nice touch, even though these do not taste fishy, as mentioned. The main downside is the cost. At around £160, it is undeniably expensive and difficult to recommend casually. However, when you factor in the purity, the high concentration per serving, and the lack of common side effects seen with cheaper oils, the price becomes easier to justify for those who prioritise quality. Also, as a side note, the amount of EPA and DHA is per 2 capsules, you can make the bottle last half a year if you only take 1 capsule a day, still a lot of quality oil and more than enough for people like me who do not need a targeted approach. Overall, this is a premium omega 3 supplement that delivers on performance and tolerability. It loses a point purely on price, but as a product, it is excellent. I can recommend this oil, it is really good.

three months supply of quality product
Ok, yes, the ticket price seems high, but let's look at what you get. The bottle contains 180 capsules, that's 3 3-month supplies. Whilst they are not the cheapest, on a month-for-month basis, the cost is comparable to other good products, not to mention these are x2 strength. They are easy to swallow and have no fishy aftertaste, which is a big thing for me. It says lemon flavoured, but honestly, I get no flavour at all, which isn't a bad thing.

Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega 2X 2150 mg, Lemon Flavour, 180 Soft Gels, High‑Purity Fish Oil
Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega 2X 2150 mg – Lemon Flavour, 180 Soft Gels – High‑Purity Fish Oil – Triglyceride Form Too early to be saying the benefits of long term use, but I found taking the recommended 2 soft gel capsules a day easy to swallow, no aftertaste. For me personally, these are out of my price range for just one months supplement at £159.99, but they are a high quality, so happy to recommend. They contain no gluten, synthetic dyes or milk derivatives. They do, however, contain gelatin, so unsuitable for vegans & vegetarians. My bottle has a best before date of June 2028. Thank you.

Not fishy or cheap
The most expensive fish oil tablets ever! They don’t taste of fish, they are quite large, and might be brilliant, but it’s too early to report any cognitive effects yet, so a leap of faith…
