great product with a little quirk
updated updated review: found that this new cap leaks as well once it's cranked down, however i did notice there is enough room for it to move up and down a bit after cranking it down which i didnt expect. turns out once it's cranked down all you have to do is push the cap down towards the master and then it work if you lift it to the top of it's travel while cranked down it will leak but push it down even with hand pressure and it will seal and work perfectly. so if anyone out there is having issues with the pressure cap leaking make sure to give it a good push down after cranking it down. i know it shouldnt need to be cranked down but here we are:) great product that should really mention the push down method as this is a great price for this product and it works well once you know the nuance's:) Updated review: the original product was replaced with another and this time the pressure cap held perfectly and the quick release worked as intended, brakes are done and it took around 20 mins for all four wheels. Highly recommended although you might get a lemon the first time. This was used on a 1991 Ford explorer cap size was 50.7 cm and fit exactly perfect. Amazon support got another one sent out right away, thanks so much. master cylinder cap leaked like a civ even though the oring looked fine, took the quick disconnect fitting off the cap piece and the quick disconnect got stuck in the back position making it so i cant connect it again, will be sending back in for a replacement and will update the review.

Use the correct pressure cap, no more than 10 PSI and enough fluid
As a former aircraft mechanic I’ve been really impressed with the Orion Motor Tech 2.5L Brake Pressure Bleeder. It made what’s usually a messy, two-person job into a quick and straightforward one-person task. The pressurized system maintains consistent flow, which helps push out air bubbles efficiently and gives a firm, responsive brake pedal afterward. The 2.5L capacity is more than enough for a full flush without constantly refilling, and the build quality feels solid. The hand pump pressurizes easily and holds pressure well without noticeable leaks. I also liked the variety of adapters included—they fit securely on multiple vehicles, which adds a lot of versatility. Setup was simple, and cleanup wasn’t bad either, especially compared to traditional bleeding methods. As long as you take a minute to ensure a tight seal on the reservoir, it works exactly as expected. Overall, this is a reliable, well-designed tool that saves time and hassle. Whether you’re a DIYer or doing regular maintenance, it’s definitely worth having in your garage. The total job took less than 30 minutes, I was skeptical at first because of some reviews. After trying the suction method, which constantly sucked air through the threads of the bleeder valve even after adding Teflon tape I was convinced pressure bleeding was the way to go and achieved a full flush. I used this on a 2015 Nissan Rogue SV, the pressure cap fit perfectly without leaking a drop of fluid.

I threw mine in the garbage!
The product looks like it’s built very well but out of the box it wouldn’t build any pressure. It does come with more rubber seals which I did use and it did build pressure afterwards. I followed the instructions about first pressure testing the fittings with out any brake fluid, just to make sure there’s no leaks. It takes a lot of effort to get a good seal on the bottle and the master cylinder. Once I got it filled with brake fluid and pressurized it, I went to work on bleeding the first brake and I suddenly I could hear a hissing noise. The cap on the master cylinder had started to leak and just as I reached to see the problem, the cap blew off spewing brake fluid everywhere in the engine compartment and onto the garage floor, making a mess of everything. A lot of the mess could have been avoided if the bottle came with an easy open valve to quickly depressurize the bottle. Idk why the cap blew loose. I didn’t like that the quality of the rubber seals were so poorly made that a supplied wrench is needed to make a proper seal. I’m not going to go into design details but I’m a mechanic and a field engineer and I’ve never seen a tool that is specifically designed to do just one purpose, fail so drastically and not have a way to valve off the flow of fluid or able to vent the pressure off. This is designed for just what it did and that was to leak, blow off and make a mess. So I did what any engineer would do and threw the whole tool into the garbage. I do not recommend this product.

Excellent Tool – Made Brake Bleeding a One-Person Job
★★★★★ Excellent Tool – Made Brake Bleeding a One-Person Job I originally tried using a vacuum bleeder and had nothing but frustration. I returned it and purchased this pressure bleeder instead, and I’m glad I did. I used it to flush and bleed the brakes on my 1975 Chevrolet K5 Blazer with front disc and rear drum brakes. After a quick pressure test to make sure everything sealed properly, the unit held pressure perfectly and pushed fluid through all four corners without any issues. The instructions were easy to follow, the gauge was accurate, and the pressure remained steady throughout the entire process. Once connected, I was able to bleed the brakes by myself without pumping the brake pedal or needing a helper. One tip for anyone using it: don’t make the same mistake I did. I forgot to remove most of the old brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir before pressurizing the system. With the reservoir already full, the added pressure caused some brake fluid to leak out around the adapter. Once I corrected that and left proper room in the reservoir, the system worked exactly as intended. The universal adapter took a little time to position correctly on my older GM master cylinder, but once it was tightened down it sealed well and held pressure throughout the job. If you’re tired of fighting with vacuum bleeders or trying to coordinate with a second person, this tool is worth every penny. My brake pedal is now firm and responsive, and the entire job was much easier than I expected. Highly recommended for anyone working on classic cars and trucks, especially older GM vehicles like my 1975 K5 Blazer.

good value.
seems pretty well made. Quick-disconnect is a good feature. The wrench for main cap is also good. However a quick-release valve would be an excellent feature: is very awkward to keep contained brake fluid where it belongs when releasing pressure.

Fits Subaru Crosstrek/Impreza/Forester. Your Future Self Will Thank You.
I have been hesitating and kicking the can down the road on getting a pressure bleeder for, I think literally at this point, two decades now. "I'll just use the pedal," I told myself. Or, "gravity bleeding it to get it started isn't that hard." It's amazing the excuses we'll make for ourselves to weasel out of paying 50 bucks. Then I had to replace, and subsequently bleed, the clutch slave cylinder on my Crosstrek. Insofar as I am able to determine, that is capital-I Impossible to accomplish via traditional methods. You just can't. Gravity bleed, didn't work. Have an assistant work the pedal, didn't work. Vacuum pump, didn't work. Check valve on the bleeder, didn't work. But THIS pressure bleeder worked -- pretty much instantly. This went from a job I've been fooling with and cussing over for two days with no progress into very literally a five minute procedure. Bleeding the air out of the clutch line took less time than it did for me to unpack all the pieces of this kit and put it together. Now, this comes with a reservoir cap that "only" fits Subarus and Nissans (and allegedly some Fords, but I don't know which ones) but the quick disconnect coupler on the cap and hose appears to be the same as other kits so you should be able to buy caps to fit other vehicles later as you need them, or one of those master kits that has all the cap sizes. I did not find the included cap wrench to be necessary; in fact, trying to use it would probably break the neck off the fluid reservoir. The cap is a push-down-and-quarter-turn to lock. There is no benefit to reefing on it. The catch bottle has a stainless cable to hang it nearby wherever your bleed screw is, but in my case this was far to short to e.g. dangle it from the hood latch and still have the hose come anywhere near the clutch cylinder bleed screw. But I could see how it would work if you were down in the wheel well doing brakes with this. I just tucked the bottle in all the hoses and so forth in the engine bay and it stayed there just fine. It'll take a lot more pumps than you think it will to pressurize the tank to the recommended 10 PSI but once you get fluid all the way down to the coupling in the cap it WILL pressurize, and then you're good to go. No additional pumping was required in my case before I got the job done. And yes, it will work with only one pint bottle's worth of brake fluid in it if you are cheap. (And I am cheap.) There is no pressure relief button, so you have to depressurize the tank when you're done by very slowly and carefully partially unscrewing the pump housing. Do this just a tad, so you don't mist yourself and your pantwork with a backblast of pressurized brake fluid. If you're been putting off buying one of these like I was, don't. This ought to pay for itself if by nothing more than preventing you from putting more quarters in the swear jar. You can now to real one-person brake bleeds without an assistant. Or a full system flush without having to babysit the fluid level in the reservoir. Or bleed a clutch that is notorious for being "impossible" in mere minutes.

Quality unit.
I bought this unit so I could do a brake system flush on my 2009 Ford F-150. I am glad to report it worked very well and the job went without a hitch. The supplied 50.7 mm reservoir cap is o-ringed an did not leak a drop at 10psi operating pressure. The catch bottle worked well and is large enough to hold the fluid from all four calipers. I sucked the Master cylinder reservoir dry and refilled it with fresh fluid before starting. I got plenty of flow from the bleeders at 10 psi and the job went quickly. I was able do get to all four of the bleed screws with my truck on the ground without a problem. Turning the front wheels to lock helped access to the front.I used about a quart of fluid but I would recommend filling the bleeder pressure pump with two quarts to remove any doubt about running out midway , or if your fluid is really nasty and takes extra flushing. At the price I paid for this unit ($50) I would say it is a steal. I would recommend and buy again. My only complaint is I wish OMT sold other master cylinder caps individually instead of having to buy a set with a bunch of caps I do not need. On the plus side the cap set is available elsewhere for a pretty reasonable price.

Lube the gasket
3.5 stars. The lid was on so tight we almost had to send back. With the jug being round and smooth, hard to grip when tightening or loosening. Really should have traction or square. At first would not build pressure, finally poured some brake fluid on the gasket, that helped seal it up. It has to be really dang tight to seal. Once sealed, worked fantastic.

Nicely built, mind the GASKETS
This fits my 2004 Suzuki Swift+. The parts are all of good quality. The only trouble was the leak at the reservoir because I missed the part about "insert gasket into pressure cap". That was me. Then I lost the gasket...

Great bleeder kit for an Audi/VW/ Porsche
Bought this kit to bleed the brakes on my 2015 Audi Q7 TDI. The kit comes with everything I need aside from the purge bottle that I bought as well. Kit is easy to use and seems to be built with decent quality materials for the occasional use it will see. I do wish they would have added a pressure bleeder valve so you can easily release pressure when done with your work but I just crack the top open slowly to release the 8-10psi of.pressure I use to bleed the brakes. Cleaning was easy as well. For the price it's hard to beat this kit if you need a brake bleeder kit for your vehicles once in a while.
