Comfortable, easily inflatable, portable swing aid
I used this to help learn how to swing a club, along with a grip trainer. I took a few lessons and just want to get better at my game so I got this after reading an article about a similar product. While I was already shown how to hold the club and swing it, this definitely reinforces your form by preventing you from keeping the ball in place while having bad form. Basically you need to squeeze the ball with your forearms while going through the swing motion. If your forearms get out of position, you drop the ball. Well, you release it. This also comes with a handy lanyard to keep it from getting too far away.As for the physical attributes, it is like a tiny beach ball covered with a soft, "micro-fuzz" (that's the best way I can think to describe it), right down to the inflator valve. What is different is that it's more pumpkin shaped than perfect sphere, and there is a small plastic ring on the back for connecting the lanyard. It weighs nearly nothing so you forgot it's around your neck while standing there except it hangs pretty low when not in use. When done it deflates easily and flattens out to a small enough size for your back pocket along with the lanyard. Probably a good idea to keep it folded with a small rubber band since it's such a long lanyard. If you want to reinforce your swing mechanics this might be a good idea. I didn't have a current swing so this doesn't feel like it's taking away from any natural mechanics. I can't speak from the POV of a seasoned player trying something new.

Leaked from the start
After it arrived, I filled it and hung it on my golf bag. 2 days later I went to Practice and it was flat. Refilled it several times just to get through practicing. I went to return it, but it requires all packaging materials, which I had thrown out. You get what you pay for!!!

Sometimes you get what you pay for
I'll start off saying that I have never used one of these before so I can't say that its a quality issue with me not loving this tool. Using it feels pretty awkward and takes a bit to get used to. I think you have to really be committed to sticking with it. I think I lack that commitment as I couldn't stick with it. I didn't notice any issues with leaking as some of the other reviews observed, so I have no complaints in that department. The upside is that its way cheaper option than some of the other options out there. Even not liking the tool I think its still something I would recommend you buy one and try it at this price point instead of spending the bigger amount on another one.

It's the Tour Striker diet Smart Ball!
The Smart Ball is an excellent practice tool- keeping your arms connected to maintain correct angles is very important. The problem with the TSSB was that it was so freaking expensive for what it is- a small fleeced beachball on a lanyard. They were $59 when I first bought one. I've seen them for $90 and up. Come on. This one does the exact same thing, and comes with a pump as well. The ONLY differences I can see are the TSSB has a plastic clip vs a metal clip on this one to hook the lanyard to the ball, and the TSSB comes with access to a good number of instructional videos- which are actually very good, and worth the price if you are interested. BUT, for 1/4 the price, I'd be totally happy with this one. Excellent version, and priced much more fairly. An underused but excellent use is during putting to keep your arms and wrists connected during the stroke...

A little on the small size - great for kids though or smaller people
Our golf coach has one of these and I thought it would work well for me as well as my kids. In actuality it works great for my kids but it's a bit too small for me. I even inflated it all the way and it's still smaller than the one my golf instructor uses. I am 5' 8 1/2" so a bit on the tall size so maybe it would fit a smaller woman but it's a bit too tall for tall women and tall men. My kids on the other hand love it and it works great for them so I just repurposed it to be for them since they take golf lessons too. I like how it comes with the pump so I didn't have to go around hunting for a pump to inflate it.

Defective out of the box
Pumped up the ball, did a few practice swings and it immediately was losing air. Put it close to my ear and when squeezing gently I could hear air coming out. Sent it back.
