Product Description Learn More About 3-pin Connectors This 3-Pin COB LED strip connector kit provides everything needed for a professional DIY installation. Featuring a range of 25 compact connectors to join strips end-to-end or attach to power supply and controllers, you can easily configure custom lighting for residential, retail or commercial spaces. Featuring an innovative clamp-on design, these 3-pin connectors simply snap onto the copper pads of your LED strip to create a permanent joint. Slowly clamping down the connectors with a pair of pliers (not included) presses the contacts together, allowing power to flow freely through the connection. Once secured, the connectors cannot be detached. Q: Do these connectors work with 24V system? A: It would be ok for the connector to work with 24V system. Q: Which type of light strip is suitable for? A: This 3-pin series have two specifications: 10mm 3-pin. They are suitable for 10mm wide COB LED strips with 3 soldering pads respectively. Please make sure to determine the width of the LED strip when selecting the connector. What's Included 10 pcs strip to wire connectors 10 pcs wire to strip connectors 5 pcs strip to strip connectors How to use the 3-PIN connector 1. Insert the wire into the connector's terminal along the wire slot. 2. Insert the LED strip into the connector's strip port. 3.Using pliers, slowly press down the copper piece completely.(Before pressing, carefully check if the wire and strip are misaligned and polarity matches.) 4. Installation completed. Technical Data Review: Simple but work. - Works as intended, and quite inconspicuous, unnoticeable when the lights are on. There are no instructions with these, so for anyone thinking these are poor quality from the other reviews, it's likely user error. They appear to be push fit, but they also require crimping with either a LED tool, or if you don't have one, hammering the connector pins into place once both ends of the cable are fit in to the housing snuggly (gently with the hammer!) Review: Works as described, takes effort to crimp, but probably not necessary for many installers. - The package contains 20x connectors for 3 way connection of 22AWG wire to 3-track 10mm LED tapes. The other 5 connectors are for joining lengths of 10mm 3-track LED tape. They work fine if they are crimped correctly. The contacts are intended to pierce the track on the tape and pierce the insultation of the wire. In this respect they are similar to RJ45 crimp connectors. The problem here is that there isn't a crimping tool for this connector, so to ensure a good joint you must first squeeze the pins as far as you can with pliers, then inspect the underside for penetration and if necessary push the pins further into their slot with a flat bladed screwdriver. On reflection, I didn't need these at all, and the same is probably true of a lot of installers; with basic soldering skills you can achieve a more compact joint of wire-to-tape or tape-to-tape. This allows the tape to be housed in a more compact channel.
