Trust me, you know, using your phone WILL cause it to heat up as it converts electricity into what you're doing. The biggest culprits are the display & the CPU! Like anything that gets to hot for too long, it starts getting a bit limp & doesn't cope well! If you're phone could scream for shade ... Pick it up & you'll realise it is! How well do you work at 40⁰C? Neither does your phone! It'll slow down, make mistakes, freeze up & eventually just stare at you! It'll need a reset, each time. Eventually you'll kill it for good! So to be able to cool it right down to 20⁰C in minutes is beautiful! Of course, charging it will heat it up, but keeping the phone cool ensures most of the energy goes into the battery, not as heat!
