Our two Pelican Mustang 100 kayaks have a very thin neoprene-type of padding on the seat bottom. After about 45 minutes of use, this seat padding gets pretty uncomfortable. I bought two of these to make our kayaking adventures much more pleasant, and it worked! These pads are amazing. The weight of these is nice and helps them stay in place nicely during hours of paddling around. The two-layer gel cross-pattern makes for the perfect cushioning. When they got wet, they dried out fairly quickly. For the amount of added comfort that these add to our kayaking experience, it is totally worth the price!Heck, I am taking these with us to anyplace where we will have to sit on a hard surface for an extended amount of time....Like a football, baseball, basketball game, anything bleacher related.

This is a great cushion. The waffle design makes it a lighter weight than a solid gell cushion, leaving it soft and flexible but still providing surprisingly good support and tailbone protection. I ordered this for kayaking (long float trips, hard seat), and it works beautifully for this. What I didn't anticipate was how great it also was for the long car ride to the site and for use on breaks along the kayaking route for sitting on rocks, picnic benches, etc. The non-slip bumps on the bottom of the cover help it stay in place on uneven surfaces. Thankfully both the cushion and removable cover seem reasonably durable and are easy to clean after a muddy wet trip. It's well worth it's weight to pack in and take camping/hiking/fishing. All the stars.

This is a huge improvement over the stock seat that comes with the Oru kayaks. I can now last 3 hours nonstop and my butt won’t hurt as much as it used to. Now it’s just my lower back, but that’s a different product.There’s good support and it doesn’t slip. It coming with a black cover makes it look like it came with the kayak. I just wish it was a tad bit more firm.

A great seat for kayaking! I used this for my daughter to sit on in front of my seat in a single sit in kayak. It doesn’t move around and is the perfect combination of firmness and comfort.

Love it I’ve tried a few this one is perfect. I use a sitin kayak. I have a few years on me and not much padding down below. I have tried a few seat cushions and most of them when you find one that seems comfortable you’re sitting to high. This one works just fine for hours. It just made my vacation.

Purchased these for kayaking. What a difference it made. Comfortable, water proof, easy to clean. We use them everywhere. Car and office chair. Highly recommend

I liked the idea of having more padding on my seat while kayaking.First I put it on my seat and noticed it was very small and only covered part of my seat, but decided to test it out in my kayak for a 6 mile paddle.The pad never slipped, but just seemed too small.Comfort wise it was not bad, except with it not covering my whole seat, it cut my circulation off where the pad ended and I still had at least 4 inches of seat without the pad.I wish this pad was bigger and actually fit my seat.

Very soft and can sit on it all day.
