Use it the shower to smooth heels. The dual texture is great and it doesnt crumble so it will last a good while. Easy to wash away dead skin from.

I believe I got this in August, so I’ve had plenty of time to use it and see how well it worked. It works fantastic - OMG - The road to normal human feet has been a long one. I have purchased and been disappointed by way too many other products. Finally ! This one is great, so far it has held up well. I don’t know if there is some special protocol one should follow? But I just use the rough side first and follow that with the smoother side. I don’t know if that is “proper” way to use this, it just seemed to make sense and is definitely working for my feet. When I first opened the package there was a bunch of little purple pieces, kind of like crumbs, that fell out of the package. They also fell out into the shower, but after a few uses that stopped. I was worried that might be a problem. but no problems at all. Maybe just leftover from the manufacturing or shipping. My feet were pretty raggedy so at first I needed to use it nearly every shower. At least until I got my feet smooth and now I just need to use it every couple of showers. That seems to keep my feet smooth and dare I say soft… So for our house we think this is an excellent product it does what it says it will. Wewould absolutely buy it again if it ever needs to be replaced.

So ok. First with the good. Do you find you need to shave off your hooves every now and then? Are your feets flakey, or do they have peeling skin? This is for you. Dark purple takes off the steel. Light purple just finishes it. These work very well. Be careful, because you can over do it. I've been using these for a while, and at first I was using them every few days to get back down to a non-hoof foot. Now I do it once a week just for upkeep. I thought I was going to have to do a foot peel or something with how bad my feet were. But this has taken care of it. The bad: this is not a pumice stone. Mr. Pumice? No Pumice. This is some kind of man made material. Like an exceptionally hard and rough sponge. So if you're looking for the real deal, this ain't it.

Will get you soft feet but after a while does crumble a little

Yes! This is the "authentic" or at least the item I was searching for! This IS the 2 sided bar. Light/Dark purple. One rough, coarse side to get those calloused feet softer (heels are crazy soft! + use lotion afterwards). Adding a body scrub to it doubles the intensity. If you're on your feet all day, or you've just neglected them a little bit, these make your feet feel like you've just had a pedicure. I use the light purple side that is a little less coarse for my elbows. I even use it lightly on the back of my thighs to make them smoother. I suffer from folliculitis (basically annoying bumps on the skin, back of thighs, back of the arms) and this bar helps tremendously with all of it! Also, GREAT price! I've paid double for one bar at the beauty store near my house. I'll definitely be ordering more! Thank you!💜

Why did you pick this product vs others?: My Mom lives in an Arizona retirement village and I noticed all the women seem to have soft-looking non-callous feet. I asked their secret and they use this everyday in the shower. It taken less than a minute. If you are going to show your feet, please pick up one of these. Nobody wants to see your nasty, scaled, white feet.

I want to give this another review as this product is very good. When I first used it my feet were super silky soft. The foot file does crumbly a bit, but it doesn’t take away the fact that this pumice bar is good.
