Strong and very long
If you care about the security of your bike then this would be a good choice when paired with a solid lock.I married this cable up with an ABUS lock and it seems like a good combination. However, I'd never leave my bike locked up in an area which was not very public as I've seen videos online of thieves cutting through all manner of cables and locks with relative ease.Luckily I don't live in a city or visit very populated areas.Visiting a local supermarket (with security cameras and security guards) is probably as 'urban' as I get when it comes to bike rides and locking it up - most of the time I'm out in the hills but I still take the cable and lock just in case I want to call into a local shop for supplies. I still take the time to tie up my bike with the long cable and lock, even in remote areas.Yes, I'm paranoid about my bike being stolen....and while this cable and lock method may not prevent a very determined tooled-up thief it will definitely slow them down enough for me to catch them in the act and bless them with the taste of hospital food.

Strong and functional
Had this for about two years now and not had any problems whatsoever. It's tough enough to be a deterrent (because let's be honest, nothing will stop the most determined thieves) and I like to use the cable to secure my quick-release wheel. It comes with two keys, one with a small light which is handy when locking and unlocking when dark, as well as a serial number to order a replacement key. There is also a bracket which can be attached to your bike in numerous ways which is handy.

Abus wired loop
Ideal went for the shortest which still does the job

Very good

Long enough for most situations
Seems well made and plastic coated so won’t damage the bike, feels sturdy however I guess these days it’s more of a deterrent as a determined bike thief will get through most things

Great for locking longer items as bicycle

Just that little bit too under
This cable just falls that little bit short of what I would like from it,1st staRt with the length it's that little bit too short put the main lock (D lock) on the back wheel at the front near the seat the abus cables can only just loop through the front wheel there has been times it's been to short to get to the front wheel as the Main lock had to be placed more in the centre of the back wheel that few more inches in size would have made it a lot better,2nd the thickness doesn't feel like it's enough, it probably is would be enough but I would like it that bit thicker.3rd the connector that makes the loops (the red part) looks like a cheap cover for hiding the mess under it would be nice to see a solid metal claspBut saying that if they made a Abus Cobra Plus Cable that has them few bit added for £10 more I would buy it
