I just got this and its all liquid and a hard lump of cream. I cant even mix it. The liquid tastes bitter. Does this mean its old?

Cream is much like natural peanut butter, it separates over time. Try warming it up and mixing it together, it should go back to its original state.

Why is this still being sold on Amazon when basically a third of the reviews give it the lowest rating possible?

Also, her maple butter must be last year’s supply. It is to early for this season.

Doesn’t sound right. Mine was a light brown color, extremely smooth, and not at all orange. I would contact them for a replacement or order from another company. Wild Hill Maple makes a fabulous product!

Tasted chemically and almost burnt. It may have just been a bad batch or the little plastic containers it's sold in as I think this is the same company I've ordered the Maple Sugar Candy from before and if it is the same company then that was good. But, that was over a year ago so not certain it was this company.

It’s a good value and what’s not to love about a young married couple creating this product on their farm? We were hoping to find something comparable to (don’t laugh) Trader Joe’s maple butter after their seasonal supply ran out. Nova is good but Trader Joe’s is off the charts good. We’ll work our way through this one and try another brand, hoping for one as good as Trader Joe’s. Really wish this was not in a plastic container.
