why is this headband so pricey for a single headband?

great headband, holds its shape and color, my husband wears them doing yard work, helps keep the sweat out of his eyes. Yes pricey but well worth it

Is the gray color transparent? It appears to be in the photo, while the other colors do not.

I have the blue one. While its not transparent necessarily the breathable fabric is thinner than you'd expect. I would say if its not stretched too far the fabric should maintain a reasonable amount of coverage before having that “transparent” effect.

will this fit a 23 inch head

yes, our Halo Bandit can stretch to fit a 23 inch head

Does this have a UPF rating?

Hello yes, our fabric has a rating of 50+
