Great book
Great book packed full of traditional herbal knowledge

Great book written by a doctor, with orthodox treatments along with herbal protocols. Thorough and full of scientific research.

Fantastic reference book. Comes up trump's where there similar texts have gaps.

Neither one thing nor another
Never been so disappointed in a book that was recommended to me. The poor quality printing and paper pales into insignificance next to the very thin herbal information in the text. I can't really see who this book was written for; if you are a medic then the medical information is superfluous as you would already know it; if you are a herbalist then the herbal information the book is written at beginners level at best. The text over simplifies herbal prescribing most frighteningly giving dosage levels without stating the strength of the tinctures prescribed, thus rendering the stated dose ranges meaningless to dangerous. This is a book that is trying to look like a medical text, I suspect written to a formula offered by an editor knowing nothing about herbal medicine to somebody who does, and who could (or perhaps should) have done a much better job of it..
