Balta Brush Special Needs Therapressure Brush

Edit: A year later and brush is still in the same condition it was when i bought it, quality item!Ok so I bought this for my autistic daughter because she has all kinds of sensory issues. She seems to get a sensory overload and will have a meltdown. Now we never had her diagnosed with sensory processing or ever got any help trying to regulate her, so I researched and found out that people basically used these to brush their child so many times a day in a certain way to help them de escalate. I watched YouTube videos on how they did it and I got this brush. So what I've found out that it can actually be very helpful and you can do it however u want. My daughter loves it, She will be having a melt down and we will just rub it on her skin and she just calms right down!!!! She has brought it to me now to have me rub her arms with it. It's definitely helped us alot and it's definitely worth having around. The price is a little high for $8 but it is a quality brush and will last a long time.

My little one has a fascination with scratching at his scalp. OT used this exact same brush to "paint" his skin. The texture and feel of this brush on his skin and especially his scalp is extremely calming and soothing.

My son caries his around, and uses it all the time. He is able to do it for his self or ask someone to do it for him.It's one of the things that go with him now always.

This is an adequate therapy brush. It is almost identical to the one they gave me for free at Occupational Therapy. The bristles are identical, a mildly scratch plastic. The handle is thicker. Same size. There is only one brush. I didn't read carefully to see there is just one brush but that's okay my fault. I do wish they would only show one of the item when you only get one.

I am very satisfied with my purchase! I use this to calm and distract my daughter during tantrums and such. Works pretty well. Great value, easy to use and durable. Super soft bristles. Feels good on myself as well. Worth all 5 stars!

These are great for my nails and skin

Used this for my daughter to help with a sensory processing sensitivity. We followed the protocol and it helped tremendously. The brush itself is durably made and the bristles are soft when used properly.
