Underwood Ranches Dragon Sriracha: A Perfectly Balanced Heat
Underwood Ranches Dragon Sriracha Sauce is a standout in the crowded world of hot sauces. From the first taste, the freshness of the locally grown peppers shines through, delivering a clean, vibrant heat that's both bold and nuanced. It's a testament to quality ingredients making a real difference. What sets this sriracha apart is its perfect balance. The heat is assertive but doesn't overpower, allowing the natural sweetness and subtle garlic notes to come through. Whether you're drizzling it on eggs, stir-fries, or tacos, Underwood Ranches Dragon Sriracha adds a delicious kick that enhances every bite. It's a must-have for any hot sauce enthusiast.

Addictive and goes well on everything
Spice level: 5 out of 10 for a hot sauce lover, probably quite spicy for someone who doesn't usually use hot sauce, but will be tolerable Flavor: Umami, sour, delicious Texture: Perfect thickness, not watery, just right Goes well with: Everything, not just Asian dishes Cons: A couple of preservatives that aren't ideal but not super toxic, and the price is a bit high for a hot sauce, I'd expect the cost if the bottle was glass and not plastic. I discovered this hot sauce at an Asian market far from where I live and couldn't get enough. I was delighted to find it here on Amazon. I'm a hot sauce lover with a cabinet full of all kinds of hot sauces. With all my choices, I find myself putting this one on just about everything. I usually use Sriracha on just Asian food, but this particular one is diverse enough in flavor to where it goes well on everything from Mexican food, pizza, soup, etc. I'm going to give myself and ulcer with this stuff, but it's worth it.

Bold, Fresh, and Addictively Good
This sauce surprised me in the best way. The flavor is bright and fresh, not overly sweet like some other srirachas. It has a clean heat that builds without overwhelming the taste of your food. I’ve used it on eggs, noodles, and even mixed it into mayo — it works with everything. If you like real chili flavor with a satisfying kick, this is absolutely worth grabbing.

Great hot sauce
I like this much better than Huy Fong sriracha, it is hotter than Huy Fong. To me it has a much better pepper flavor. It does cost more than Huy Fong does at my local store I find it worth the price difference and will be buying it from now on.

Clear winner
After buying the rooster for many years this is the clear winner after the end of that partnership. Much better color consistency and flavor. As this was the farm that supplied the peppers for the rooster brand im not suprised.

Underwood Ranches: The Sriracha Heir Apparent Emerges from the Ashes
I wonder if History books will mention the Great Sriracha Shortage. You remember that? I sure do as if it was yesterday. During the shortage, while other brands shuffled their feet and offered watery, anemic substitutes, Underwood Ranches, Huy Fong's former chili supplier, stepped onto the scene like a conquering chili pepper. Launched in 2019, Underwood Ranches Premium Sriracha wasn't just another pretender to the throne; it was the king's exiled son returning, ready to reclaim his birthright. This sriracha ain't messing around. It's smooth, glides onto your tongue like silk, and then punches you in the face with heat like a rogue jalapeno. The flavor dance is complex, a kaleidoscope of chili, tangy vinegar, and a hint of sweetness that almost makes you forget the firestorm in your mouth (almost). Now, let's address the elephant in the sriracha room: the garlic. Yeah, it's not as garlicky as its famous rival. But is that necessarily a bad thing? Think of it this way: Underwood focuses on letting the true chili flavor shine. It's like finally hearing the lead singer in a band for the first time after years of drowned-out vocals. Compared to the competition? Underwood leaves them in the dust. I tried them all, folks: Fix, Tabasco, Kikkoman, even that squirrel brand (don't ask). They were pale imitations, sad echoes of the original. Underwood Ranches, on the other hand, is a full-blown sriracha symphony, playing on every taste bud like a virtuoso. The only real gripe? The price. $22 for two bottles is hard to swallow compared to Huy Fong's bargain basement bucks. But here's the thing: Huy Fong's current batch is a sad shadow of its former self. I returned mine faster than you can say "chili apocalypse." Underwood Ranches, despite the price tag, delivers quality ingredients and flavor that justifies every penny. So, is Underwood Ranches the dethroner of Huy Fong? Maybe not yet. But it's certainly the heir apparent, the prince of sriracha waiting in the wings. If you're tired of pretenders and want the true sriracha experience, look no further. I highly recommend Underwood Ranches, and it might just become your new favorite fiery friend. P.S. Please, Underwood, let's work on that garlic thing. Just a touch, okay? Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars (minus 0.5 for the garlic whisper)

Great heat! Great taste! I prefer this over the Huy Fong which I enjoyed before.

The flavor rules
Fantastic sauce, can be put on anything. To be honest I might like it more than the OG sriracha sauce.
