This is a good value for a wide selection of shades in the brown to beige tones. I do recommend.

I have been using the traditional makes of embroidery threads for my projects but decided to give these ones a try when I ran out of some of my colours . Pleased I did as I think they are surprisingly good for the price I paid . I have stitched with them at the thickness they are supplied in and also split them to into less strands to sew things that needed that , like cross stitch, and had no problems doing that . I cannot say how colourfast they are as I have not had them long enough to judge this . I do think for a beginner they would be a good starting point as they cost less but are ok to work with . However, as I am new to using this make of embroidery threads , I think for stitching something I would want to keep for many years I will stay with the brands I am are use to but for small projects like cross stitch cards etc. then the difference in price means these are worth giving them a try . My order came with a nice range of colours and the variegated shades of embroidery threads are also nice. I will still sometimes buy the more expensive ones from shops that stock them , as choosing the colours for a project in that way is nice . But these threads I think are good for the price .
