Ok so this bed is very pretty. It’s a lovely gold color (a nice pearl luster - not just basic yellow). BUT the pieces did not fit well together in some places and we had to do some finagling that may or may not have involved a blow torch to get them to “slide” into place. The wheels that come on the trundle are CHEAP PLASTIC and broke immediately when my normal sized daughter excitedly fell/jumped onto it. I wouldn’t even say it was out of the ordinary kid behavior BUT when we put them on I literally said “these are cheap and won’t last very long” and I was right. Five minutes max. Anyway, we are not sending it back because it’s together and it looks fine. She loves it and it will work for now. We will deal with the wheels one day - maybe get the blow torch back out. Good price for guest bedroom. I bought this bed due to metal frame being able to hold up to 350lbs, in case I have guest that are heavy, they will feel comfortable. Top bed is a 10in and bottom is 8in mattress. The only thing is the bottom bed frame is wider than top and sticks out in the bottom but it’s something you can fix, so it’s just a little annoyance for the good price.

So it's cute, but some imperfections in the finish. Kind of a mustard color, which is fine. A bit squeaky. Would have given 4 stars, but instructions were very lacking. EDIT Changing from 3 to 2 stars - trundle wheel broke when my very lightweight 7 year old jumped from the bed onto the trundle. And it is now VERY squeaky.

The color is not gold, more like yellow. but this is a good option for an extra bed

nice sturdy bed but the color is totally wrong. i was expecting a bright yellow color, this color is more green gold. it looks old. im going to have to spray paint it myself. i hate this color

Easy to assemble. Very nice looking. Used as extra sleeping for unexpected company.

Not durable enough,the bed frame has started falling apart

This is the only double bed on the market with a full-size roller. All metal, perfect for big guys. It's very strong. Please read the instructions carefully during installation. This is a nice bed. It is rugged and easy to assemble. I keep this bed in my guest room and look forward to my mom and sister putting it to good use during the holidays!
