I also have a number of the batteries that this light uses.The lights are understandably more front - heavy than the ones with the battery packs on the back of the head. However, the simplicity of the front battery is worth not dealing with battery cables and connection weak points.Issues1) Only 1 had issues (out of the box) with turning off randomly. I should have returned that one. (Edit, 2022Sept- I contacted the seller, Atactical Direct, and the bad one was swapped for a new one, with haste.
