Davlex Commercial Mincer Size 12 Butchers Meat Grinder, Heavy Duty 120 Kilos per Hour Machine

Bought this grinder to grind raw food for my cat. Requires that the machine be able to grind chicken and rabbit bones. Although it says clearly in the questions above that this machine will do so I had some worries. Mainly the power consumption was less than a third of other models I have seen that also claim to be capable of grinding bones. In the event I needn't have worried, the grinder chews up chicken drumsticks, thighs and whole carcasses with ease and very, very quickly.The only thing that some might want to be aware of is that this grinder is pretty hefty and weighs almost 30 kg. If it is not going to be standing permanently in place, you will need somewhere accessible to keep it and be capable of lugging it around the kitchen.

When we unpacked it, we found the feed pipe already attached but upside down. Not matter what I tried I could not remove it. In addition, on the side of the feed pipe someone had tried to drill a couple of holes (not all the way through) for what reason I do not know. Due to the weight of the machine (27kg packaged), I could not carry it to the post office so had to pay for a courier to collect (£23).

I use the mincer for mincing cooked offal for my dogs. It's a strong and minces quickly, does an excellent job. After sales service is excellent too. Very highly recommended.

Not that heavy duty, and not very solid

Bought this product to make our own cat food. We process whole chicken thighs and the machine gobbled up 8 kilos in no time at all. It's easy to use and very easy to clean. Highly recommended
