- It may take a few washes to clean the hair of any product from your previous shampoo. We suggest washing and rinsing three times for the first week or so. Also, it is very important (we can't stress this enough) to ensure you create lots of creamy white lather. Wet the shampoo bar under the water and rub in your hands to start the process. When it starts to lather up, continue to rub the bar onto your hair which will cleanse rather than coating it with oils that could then be left after washing.
