Works like new.
The gas struts on my truck were getting weak and wouldn't hold the back door up. I don't know why, but they always seem to fail in the winter. The new ones were a perfect fit, very easy to install, and the price was right.

Just as advertised, easy install, and great to have the auto lift working again.
Popped off the old, snapped on the new...took about 10 min. max. Love having my canopy window operational again...tired of trying to load and duck the window on some days, and being surprised when it held up due to a favorable wind. Reasonable price, but worth twice the price in what it does.

Strong enough I only had to replace one
Both pistons were bad and I remember replacing both a long time ago and it was trying to pull the hing off my metal canopy door. This time, just replaced one and it is perfect and I have a spare.

Easy!
My old struts didn’t have a recognizable number to match. Easiest way to measure is to remove an old one and measure distance between center of top and bottom ball joints. And be sure to figure out the pounds your old one can support. My original turned out to be 24 pounds and my replacement is 45 pounds. It’s a bit harder to pull it down but certainly stays up - even with snow stuck to it!

Fits GEM car trunk
Fit the trunk on GEM electric NEV You might have to remove existing gas lift bolt and enlarge the hole with. 3/8” bit to fit the included ball ends. That needs a 12mm and 14mm wrench to tighten Works great

I really liked how these installed quickly on my ATC Canopy. Great quality and very powerful as my back window seemed quite heavy. Would highly recommend these.

They worked well on my truck for a few months then the cold winter temps came came and they totally failed and are completely useless now even after I warmed it up in my garage.
