This stone is used to cleanse the emotional body of negative thoughts, anxiety, anger or feelings of unworthiness or substance abuse. It is also associated with root chakra which controls security, stability and basic needs of organs and body parts physically near the base of the spine. I have this with other crystals in jars around my house, a piece in my pillowcase and with other crystals in my glass water bottle. Honestly, I noticed my negativity is ceasing and my scoliosis and hip do not inflame or hurt as before. It is all in believing that there is energies in crystals. The rocks came well packaged and there was some crumbling. I received all black and one with purplish white crystals embedded. I am not sure about tumbling, seem a bit fragile and quite beautiful in raw form. Reasonable price for quality and quantity compared to similar styles and brands. These are absolutely genuine raw black tourmaline stones. I received three medium-larger chunks, three medium chunks and four very small ones along with some broken bits in the package. Tourmaline is extremely soft, flakey and fragile so this is to be expected. This quality of stone is absolutely not meant to be tumbled and will break into pieces if you try.The larger pieces I received were cut into flat round chunks instead of longer vertical ones. That does not bother me but might not be with some other people expected.I was happy to see that several of my pieces also had attached flashy bits of Mica, which frequently grows alongside tourmaline in nature. The largest piece was speckled with pink spots, I'm not sure what that inclusion might be.They also included a stick of satin spar selenite with the purchase, which was a nice little bonus.People who are into the spirituality of crystals believe that selenite helps to cleanse and recharge the energy in your crystals, so that's why it would've been included. For those interested in the spiritual aspects of tourmaline, it is generally considered a good protection stone.In general these are lower quality specimens, and as such I did find this 1/2 pound package to be a bit overpriced. But good for someone just starting out, without access to a larger Crystal market where the prices would be a little lower.

I like these raw tourmaline pieces they are nice I got about three pieces and they’re pretty dusty I’m not sure if I should break them up so they’re more pieces or just leave them the way they are so far I just left them in a Glass dish. I don’t have a rock tumbler so they’ll just have to remain in that dish until I get one otherwise it does look nice, I’m not even sure if these are the type of rocks that can be tumbled looking at how fragile these rocks are, is my first time getting raw tourmaline but it does seem like these are real based on the pictures I’ve looked at online.

The medium size raw and rough black tourmaline crystals I received seem to be filled with a bountiful amount of positive energy. The crystal stones remind me of some sort of rock from a Superman movie. Also included is a nice white selenite stick. The one I received is a little over three inches long and weighs 54.7 grams. The black tourmaline crystals stones and the tiny bits of tourmaline came in at a weight of 226 grams. Overall, I'm very happy with the raw and rough medium size pieces of tourmaline and the positive energy will help add joy, love, confidence, and good health to my life and surrounding loved ones.

I studied the photos that accompanied the specific listing for tourmaline that I ordered - the ½ pound-medium. There were 2 photos. Each showed 18 specimens. My shipment had 3 largish lumps of tourmaline, plus a small bit that appeared to have flaked off of one of the larger pieces during transport. There was also a rather standard small wand of selenite (gypsum) included. I was quite surprised at the quantity I was shipped compared to what I was led to expect by the photos.If you're ordering tourmaline off the Internet you probably already know its properties & why you want it, but it would still have been nice to have a little info leaflet in the package to supplement the buyer's knowledge. Explain the inclusion of the selenite for instance! (Google 'how to cleanse crystals with selenite'.)

I got white and black stones and they all look the same texture, just the different colors. I am just starting with my rock collecting.Installation/setup: They are rocks. Use as you will.Final thoughts: I have no way of testing these rocks to see what they actually are. The internet suggested I test the hardness and I don’t have a tester. The rocks look nice and you can see in the pictures what I got. I planned to put these in my new tumbler, but I like the way they look as is so I may just put them on a shelf to look at.⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

I like the amount that you get, I got some nice sized pieces. It looks to be in great shape other than the other crystals that ended up shattered into powdery pieces. I do wish the powdered crystals could have been prevented in packaging, but at least there were a good amount of crystals that survived. I also love how this includes a selenite added in.I got this pack to help provide me with protection and to block out negative energy. I also hope that the selenite can help clear and purify energy as well. Overall, it's a great set to get if you're into crystals and protection. As far as I can tell, the crystals do seem to be in good quality and are authentic as they do have small little clusters of other crystal on it.
