Billy Blanks: Tae Bo Bootcamp Shred
R**O
My favorite Boot camp work out from Billy Blanks!
I've done Billy's Boot camp work outs before even the ones that featured the Billy Bands. Those were good cardio work outs even if you did not use the bands, but they did not feel like you were training for boot camp. Enter Tae Bo Boot Camp Shred: this work feels like you are training for boot camp and Billy actually gets into drill sargent mode with the back up talent (Poor Charlie). One thing I enjoyed about this work out was the inclusion of jump squats into knee tucks towards the end. This took me by surprise, but my adrenaline kicked in during this sequence and I enjoyed the push despite how out of breath I was afterwards. Lol 😆😁😉💪👊🥊🥊

I used to love the Ultimate Boot Camp video but it was not ...
Disappointing. I used to love the Ultimate Boot Camp video but it was not available for instant viewing. I hoped this would be similar but it was very disappointing - not worth the hour of my time as I can get a much better workout elsewhere. Waste of money.

It'll have you sweating 10 mins!
This was my first Taebo DVD ever. I find this DVD rather backwards because he stretches and breathes at the end of the segment. THIS ISNT FOR BEGINNERS! I am already in shape, but it did wear me down after 50 mins into the video.+Pros: you will burn/sweat really fast+Cons: there are parts when they are just moving back and forward, I guess to catch their breath or something. I don't like it because I prefer to keep going. Billy can come off as a bully...LOL!Tip: after a fast cardio interval...breathe in and out or you will get tired fast. You want to have good shoes while doing these exercise or you'll feel chaffing in your feet. If you have bad knees, instead of kicking just raise your knee up.Good Luck!

I absolutely love this workout video
I absolutely love this workout video. I've lost 30 pounds that I could not shake after having my baby. This was my first time doing Tae bo so I was concerned that I would not know how to do it properly and would not see results. I was absolutely wrong! I lost my DVD so I'm ordering it on Amazon Instant Video so I can use it anywhere and anytime!

REPLACEMENT DVD
I got this as a replacement for my original Tar Bo Boot Camp Shredd DVD that I somehow cracked. I got it used and could not be more pleased with the quality even though it is used. I love this workout so I was happy to be able to replace it.

Not like his others...
This is definitely not like his other exercise DVD's. I have at least 6. I LOVE Ultimate Bootcamp! On this one he seems unfocused. Exercises are random, unrehearsed, unrefined. (Im surprised it was "published") A lot of repeating of moves and a lot of time spent moving back and forth. Usually he is up beat and a super motivator by being direct with commands/directions. I was expecting more since it has Billy's name on it AND it says Bootcamp Shred. Insanity Beachbody is the ultimate Shred!!

bootcamp shred
this is a good workout. more challenging than some other taebo workouts. what i dont like about this workout is that it seems a little more all over the place. less organized. less rehearsed. plus there are times we "walk it out" for too long. so it gets slow at times. but by the end of the full hour workout, overall you will break a sweat and possibly be a little out of breath. there is also a part where you do some kicks on one side but billy never goes back to do the other side. so i work out the other leg myself. then there is another part where you do a knee raise on one side but he goes to the other side way later on in the video. not that these are the worst things but that is what i mean by being less organized than the other videos he has. i still really like it though. its more tough.

I enjoyed this one
Own 18 Tae Bo DVD's, this is one is challenging. Drenched in sweat by the end of it! It's comparable to Max Intensity, Advanced Tae Bo, Classic Tae Bo and This is Tae Bo. You get a few more breaks in between moves, and he starts out easier then transitions to difficult, but I would say just as challenging. Not sure how anyone could claim that this is "too easy", as the people doing the work out in the DVD (Shelly included) are exhausted. I enjoyed this one!

AMAZING
I've been doing various Billy Blanks Tae Bo DVD's for the last year and I must say Tae Bo Bootcamp Shred is one of my favorites. I am extremely pleased.

Not My Favorite.
I've been doing Billy's DVDs for years and loving them. For some reason I just didn't take well to this particular workout. I found the pace to be slower and I couldn't get into the groove of it. I also didn't like that it slowed way down in the middle to do a small section of toning exercises. Once I get my heart rate up, I want to keep it there. I think I would have enjoyed the DVD more had the toning section been placed at the end before the cool down.
