A well designed machine. Good size. Microwave tech is quiet and has good output. Easy to clean but all humidifiers must be cleaned with each use. The bottom of the tank has some plastic fixtures that jut out about 4 inches and require a bristle brush to clean (two wires twisted together with bristles sticking out on all sides and a tuft at the end). Also clean the base's water well by filling with clean water, run your finger around the sides (don't touch the recessed diaphram except maybe gently with a q-tip), dump, rinse again. Sounds like work but doesn't take much more time than what it takes to fill the tank.At the end of the season you will want to immerse the mist conduit that runs up through the tank in a 50-50 mix of white vinegar and water to clean out the crud that built up. Same with the water resevoir in the base. Rinse when done. Let dry. Then store. Should look like new when you get it out next season.We run two of these, one at each end of the house. Makes a big difference. Cuts down on static and helps prevent sore throats.

Bigger than expected but not too big. Extremely quiet. I love that you can turn off the night light. Dispenses a good amount of mist. I tried this for one day and today ordered another for my bedroom. Not sure it will run for the 65 hours as mentioned, maybe on the #1 setting for the mist. Anyway it's great but the biggest thing for me is i cannot hear a sound coming from it. I wish you coyld fill it from the top of the tank instead of having to remove the tank, turn it upside down, remove the cap and then fill it, but not a big deal.

No noise at all, fine cool mist, works full blast for almost a full day. Easy to fill, nice design. Second time I bought one due to plastic handle on top of water reservoir separating and making puddles on the top, leaking. But it lasted a couple years and the whole time I loved it so I bought an upgraded one.

It has grown louder after a month and a half of constant use. The noise is like the mild hum of an old fluorescent shop light, or a very loud computer fan.Other than that it works great. Easy to fill, large capacity.If you get white chalk dust from hard water you are not doing any electronics in the room any favors. Personally, I'm not buying and carting distilled water in bulk so I use zero water to fill it. There's a noticeable difference in the air quality over tap water.

This is a replacement for my same humidifier which I have used for several years. It works great and is easy to use. I buy a new one every few years since it is difficult to clean in some of the crevices. This is the third time I have purchased this same appliance.

The first humidifier I received was defective. I consulted the manufacturer and was told to return it to Amazon. I returned the defective humidifier at Kohl’s (very easy). Within 2 days I received a new one. I set it up and this one works great. It is quiet and seems to do a fine job in my bedroom. I use a small paintbrush and white vinegar to clean the appliance once a week. I rated the “easy to clean” are 4 stars because it it a little harder to get the tank lined up to slide it bac into the base. Once lined up correctly, the tank slides very easy. This humidifier als has a nightlight. Nice feature. I would highly recommend this humidifier.

I purchased a second humidifier this fall after having a forty-five minute nosebleed. I liked the first one so much, I bought a second humidifier. (That’s right! I have two of these! I love them!) I run them 24/7. I haven’t had any nosebleeds this winter since buying a second unit. It has also significantly reduced my winter eczema and dry, cracked, bloody knuckles and hands. I have less congestion when I wake up in the morning, and I definitely feel that it’s easier to breathe with my asthma. This unit is almost completely silent. It’s very easy to clean also. I make a disinfectant spray at home using water and a little bleach. I spray the outside part of the water reservoir and the inner tube, and lightly scrub with a toothbrush, rinse, and done. I also find this very soothing to have on at night. This humidifier has been worth it, and I have zero regrets with this purchase.

I bought the Homedics UHE-CM65 Humidifier December of 2023. It recently failed; "fan" quit blowing mist out of unit. It was advertised with a 1-year warrantee. I contacted Homedics and they refused to warrantee it because it is a unit that they do not make anymore. As well the date code was February of 2022. I contacted Amazon and they were kind enough to warrantee it but the replacement is already two years old, same date code. Why can't I get a new model?
