This 20 pins adaptor doesn't communicate with all 3 BMW compatible scanners I have tried.
I have waisted time and money to buy and return two BMW compatible scanners. The 20 pins connector adaptor is the obvious culprit to the miscommunication of the OBD readers to the car. At the garage they were able to connect their readers without any communication problems.

THe product fit the 20 pin obd connector on my 1997 bmw m3. Read the dtc codes for the transmission like I needed. Worked perfect for my vehicle. Highly recommend.
