I initially got this workbook/study guide prior to beginning school and I used it throughout the semester to touch up on my retention, when it came time to take all of mt exams I passed with flying colors! Currently my niece is in school and I was so upset with her when I found out she didn’t tell me so I could gift her with this!!

This book is to get me started ahead of my class in the new year. It very fascinating

This is the best study guide I have ever bought! I am studying for the nursing school exam and bought a couple different PAX books but this one was seriously the best! It explains everything so well! I highly recommend this book and not the mometrix study guide. I passed my test because of this book!

This book didn't do anything for me other than scare me and confuse me. I took the PAX last week after studying both the 2022-2023 and 2024-2025 and the red NLN Pre-Entrance Exam 3rd edition. The questions on the exam were pretty tough and takes years and years of accumulation of knowledge in Biology, Physics, Physiology, Math and English to get a near perfect score. The English section was the toughest. There were 6 long passages to read, each having 5 multiple choice questions in addition to almost 20 other multiple choice questions. Math was the easiest section for me and though some concepts from the blue books helped, it was actually the red book that was most helpful. The red book was concise and exact on point. The questions in the exam modeled those in the red book. However, I recommend purchasing the practice tests on the NLN website as very few (less than 10 total) repeated in the exam. Take note of the topics on the prep test and study those in detail. Overall, just study the red book and the prep tests and you should be fine. The blue books tried to discuss too much and I felt they lacked organization. It just made me feel very lost and I started studying for the exam January 2024.

One thing I absolutely love about this product is that it comes with flash cards for free in the flash cards are excellent because for me flash cards are easier for me to study with other products don't offer this and if you did you have to pay an extra charge which I don't like I highly recommend this book it's awesome

The only reason i gave it 4 stars is its a little overwhelming at first!.. but its great to help study and practice for the test...has all kinds of questions and tells you he answer so you can be prepared..

Some of the answers are incorrect. You have to pay attention to the passage and the letters. Most are correct but there are some answers that dont match the letters correctly in the answer key. You have to re-review the passage and make sure that the answer not the letter is correct. Ex: answer key says C is correct and has the word or answer after but the passage will have that response on letter D so you mark it incorrect... dont like that!
