This lens cover with a hinged, plastic door seems to be designed for people like me who want to throw their iPhones in a pocket with keys, etc., and don't want the lenses to get scratched. I love it for that! And because the cover can be opened thanks to a hinge, you will take your photos with the naked iPhone lens and get all the photo quality that Apple engineers intended. The plastic is not totally clear, so you must open the door to take photos (except for selfies, since they use the camera in reverse). Just be sure that when you apply the lens cover, you press the adhesive tightly, and try not to use the camera too often for the next day or two to give the adhesive a chance to bond; if you must take photos on these days, open the door very gently to avoid loosening the cover. For general use, you'll need to remember to open the door before taking a photo -- and to close the door when done -- which requires a bit more effort than you'd think. (For this reason, this product might not be ideal for young kids who aren't mindful enough to consistently remember to do this -- or for taking extremely spontaneous pictures that you could miss while opening the lens cover door.) I was pleasantly surprised to see that the seller included an extra cover -- and equally surprised that, when I brought my phone to the Genius Bar for something unrelated ,an Apple Store employee said she'd never seen anything like this and seemed pretty excited!

The adhesive is terrible - it easily comes off especially when opening the door - and leaves residue when you take it off - including residue on the metal rims of the lenses, not just the flat surface behind them. It smells like Scotch tape pretty strongly, so I assume it might be a similar adhesive to that. Also, after approximately a week of use, the door broke off from the bottom piece, at which point I decided to remove it and just use a glass lens protector instead. If this was able to adhere better and held up better it would be promising, but as-is, I can't recommend this.It does come in a 2-pack, I never used my second one though.Also, the clear version does not let you take photos through it. I was kind of hoping that it would be truly clear so I could keep my lenses protected but also take pics through them quickly, but also open the door when I needed maximum quality and thus avoid the slight blurring/glare from my glass lens protector. Unfortunately, since this seems to be a privacy-oriented product (which is probably not necessary because iOS is pretty strict about when and how apps can use the camera), the door is frosted plastic and blurs images beyond usability.

I’d been looking for something like this ever since I got my iPhone 14 Pro Max and was excited to receive it. I followed the instructions precisely and left everything overnight. The first time I tried to open the lens cover, the whole thing came off. I tried again with the 2nd one (comes in a pack of 2) and the exact same thing happened. The adhesive on these is not good at all.The instructions say that the adhesive will be fully adhered after 24 hours, but the slightest bump or slight force to open the lens cover will cause the entire thing to pop right off.Everything else about it would have worked. The fit is right on and would even allow for the lens cover to swing right or left upon opening, based on user preference.I’m going to see if this can be affixed with another type of adhesive. The idea of the product is great in theory, but worthless if it doesn’t stick.

This was a great idea but poor design. It kept coming off my phone rendering it useless.

As you can see, it doesn’t fit. Also it only has two camera holes, while my iPhone has 3.:(

Even after hours of applied pressure the adhesive doesn’t stick

Hi,I am writing this as a loyal customer who has happily used the black lens cover and even recommended it to others. I was very lucky to get a new phone last week, I got the clear lens cover for iphone14 and it fell off the first day. Was shocked. My other lasted a year. This is one day? Maybe we got a damaged one? Or formula changed on glue? I was truly surprised because I loved the black lens eysoft cover had on my older phone. I am wondering if you have exchange policy.
