First I didn't realize this was just a rectangle blanket that you snap into the form of a hooded rain coat. Not thrilled about that. Otherwise is was very long. Sellers contacted me thru my email asking why I returned it. I had already given my feedback when I returned it.

I like the ease of just wrapping it around me and the size of it. I do wish it had a better way than just one small Velcro piece to close it; maybe a tie or clips or zipper, etc would work better to keep it closed.

I purchased this hooded waterproof “blanket” for rainy days watching my kids play baseball. When it arrived, I tried it on in front of my dad and we couldn’t stop laughing. The hood attached to the blanket (which you can conveniently tuck away) is extremely pointy. If you wear it in public, you may be mistaken for a character out of the latest children’s fantasy novel, or worse, a cult member.Thankfully, my friend who is a sewing genius fixed it by removing the point. It is now perfect. It is warm but also waterproof- I recently wore it at a rainy game and it worked perfectly. I have attached pictures of the before and after of the hood. A simple rounding of the hood and it looks and works magnificently.

Kept me nice and warm in low 40s at game but I expected more then just one velcro fastener as wind would blow it open.

This item is perfect for loads of outdoor activities. You can use it as a blanket even if the ground is a little and it’s big enough for 4 people to sit on it as well. Also, you can use it as a poncho if attending a sporting event or anything outdoors where it is raining.
