It’s amazing how much people can endure. I can’t believe what this woman lived through as a young girl. What a tale she had to tell. I definitely recommend it for anyone interested in World War 2 and it's affect on every day people. This book makes you appreciate what you have.

I still can’t believe this all happened only 80 years ago. Such unnecessary suffering. I can’t imagine what this would have been like to endure.
