Strong magnets! Worked to attach foil/ziploc bag wood organizer to fridge!
These are strong magnets, highly recommend! I was trying to attach a foil, ziploc bag wood organizer to the side of my fridge but the multiple 'heavy duty' command strips and other magnets I bought kept falling and slipping. I ended up using a heavy duty glue to attach these magnets to the back of my organizer and it worked! No more sliding or randomly falling off in the middle of the night.

Super magnets
These are STRONG. Even sliding them apart is difficult. Using to hold blackout cloth on back door window. It will never blow away again.

Really Strong
These were exactly what I needed for my project, didnโt use the adhesive pads though so not sure how well those hold. Unfortunately though, some kids were over and put several magnets together. I have no idea how I am going to separate them๐คฆ๐พโโ๏ธ. They didnโt come with the plastic buffer either. Instead they came in a checkerboard formation and the edge of one touched the edge of another so have to be careful in pulling them a part.

Good Magnets for Displate Metal Posters
These are very good magnets to secure Displate metal posters to the wall. There are a few things you need to understand first though. The screws that come with the magnets are too short. They are only long enough to go through the drywall. There are two problems with that. 1) When you pull Displates off the wall the entire magnet and screw are likely to come out of the wall with the Displate. 2) When you are trying to adjust the position of the Displate, the screw will likely get loose and will pull out from the magnet which will scratch the back of your Displate (not the end of the world I don't think, but personally I'd rather not damage my Displate at all). You really need screws that will go all the way into the stud. The screw you use absolutely must have a flat head, so as not to scratch the Displate. Also that head must fit all the way into the magnet so that it is less likely to scratch the Displate. Screws size #6 seemed to do the job perfectly (#8 may work but more likely to scratch imo). The head and actual screw of the #6 size screws appear to be smaller in circumference than even the screws that come with the magnets, so they fit into the magnet hole nicely. I was unable to find 1.25 inch long #6 wood screws at the hardware store so I went with 1.5 inch long #6 wood screws and they worked nicely. I think 1 inch long screws would work well too. You just want to make sure it goes into the wood stud located behind the drywall (use a stud finder to locate the stud). Magnets are delicate, so you want to screw the magnet by hand. You just want to make sure the screw is not protruding out of the magnet but don't tighten it too much. If the magnet is not moving at all then it's definitely tight enough. I broke one of my magnets, cracking it in 3 spots. It was my own fault as I was trying to use a screw that was a bit too big and didn't want it to protrude out and I screwed a little too tight. Even though it broke, it appears to be working just fine so I left it in the wall. It appears that a single magnet is sufficiently strong to hold a Displate in place (I have one large Displate poster being held by a single one of these magnets). In general, regardless of the magnet's strength, it's best to use at least 2 magnets per Displate because if you just use 1 often times the Displate will look funny either based on how it bends or how it hangs. I recommend either a combination of at least 2 of these magnets or 1 of these magnets plus the 2 magnets that come with the Displate. Other reviews complain that the magnet currently being sold is weaker than the magnet that used to be sold. This is absolute true. These magnets are substantially weaker than the old ones. However, for the purpose of Displates, I would argue that these weaker magnets are SUPERIOR to the old magnets. Displates simply don't require all that power. These are easier to separate from one another which is nice but most importantly these are thinner than the old magnets. Having a thinner magnet is nice because it means your Displate won't protrude so far off the wall. I do feel the 95lb claim on this magnet is blatantly false and because of that I'm subtracting a star. However, large Displates are only 3lbs so a super powerful magnet is not required. If I were using my magnets to hold tools or a handgun then I would probably want something more powerful but for the purposes of Displate metal posters these are nearly perfect aside from the fact that you need to get separate #6 screws to ensure that the magnets attach to the stud rather than just the drywall.

Really strong magnets with a nice finish
Really strong magnets! I ordered these to hang a Milwaukee battery charger mounting bracket to the wall in my conex, see pics, and to add a magnet onto a break bleeder bottle so it could mount near the brake caliper. They work great and look nice in the process. Iโd recommend these for mounting or hanging anything with some weight to it.

These Magnets Have Their Own Gravitational Field
I accidentally dropped two of these near each other and they slammed together so hard my smoke detector filed a workersโ comp claim. I tried separating them with my hands. The magnets won. My fingerprints are now optional. My garage now has three new tools permanently attached to the side of my toolbox. I donโt even remember putting them there. One magnet grabbed a screwdriver from six inches away like it owed it money. NASA should honestly look into these because Iโm pretty sure one of them altered the Earthโs rotation by a few degrees. Buy these if you need serious holding power. Donโt buy them if youโre emotionally attached to your fingertips.

VERY STRONG...can make it difficult to remove from flat metal surfaces.
Although these are fairly small and light, their grip strength to magnetic surfaces is very impressive. The only way I could remove them from a steel firedoor is to slide them off the edge and then pry them loose. These are great for holding heavy items to magnetic surfaces or using in physics labs.

Strong
Very strong! None were broken when they arrived and they don't seem to break easy either. I dropped one a couple times and not a crack. I would suggest attaching a handle if putting on a surface with no edge to slide to. I rock climb and peeling it off was a chore. Sliding may rip the paint off whatever it is stuck to. These are exactly what I was hoping they would be. I wish they had optional metal handles that you can buy separately.

Super Strong
super strong, I used it to hold a removable wall panel on my cargo/campervan, depending how strong you want it to be, you can add more magnets or remove some. Happy with the purchase and would recommend it.
