Well worth buying over cheaper thinner versions. Tung oil is non-toxic and makes a beautiful finish to any wood. I have used it on all my kitchen doors. It does get absorbed by the wood as oil but then it dries and hardens leaving a really durable finish. This is genuine pure tongue oil

Good - Makes the wood a brighter version of what it is.. I tested it on bamboo bowls and shelves, I tested it on corona Mexican pine furniture and a dark wood on knife handles - great! Photos Definitely hydrates and makes it look nicer. See all photos Bad... if its humid in the air at all or you apply slightly too much - it stays tacky... and I have several pieces of furniture that are sticky now and I cannot remove it (tried to sand, use hot water and a cloth) - I have a cat and now that furniture gets fur sticking to it all the time. I have had to cover with a plastic dining cloth to keep it clean (completely defeating the purpose of using this stuff...) The brush that came with it is a bit useless and makes application difficult.. Get an old rag and its much easier to not get too much. The brush actually makes it go a funny texture. It smells a bit off.. but not the worst thing in the world. It will highlight colours or textures (somtimes making it look great with character, others making it look damaged/mouldy) - see window sill image. When it works it's great! When it doesn't I regret it big time!

This product is not 32 ounces as it states on the package. I weighed it with a food scale and even with the container it’s in it’s several ounces short. Not acceptable!

If you are on the fence because this doesn’t have a brand name you know, go ahead and buy it. This is a quality product that cures awesome. I’ll be buying it again

Worked well for sealing up the new swing set. Diluted 50/50 with non-low-voc mineral spirits and sprayed with a garden sprayer.

I’m always eerie about third party odd brand name imported products like this, but this one seems to be the real deal. It has the thick, viscous heavy texture of real pure tung oil and smells like it should for real tung oil. I’ve used it on a number of wood projects in conjunction with pure limonene citrus solvent and will continue to use it for the value cost.
