Great bag of goodies, which enabled me to easily remove the back of my old samsung for battery replacement.

So...I wasn't exactly expecting quality for £8 but it's better than I expected.The metal tools are great, the opening tool has a decent balance of flex and rigidity so it does it's job well.The black plastic spudgers are a bit weak, the flat edge broke after one use which was a little disappointing but luckily I had a spare I just had to go hunting for it.The screwdrivers are decent, good enough that I added them to my proper repair kit.The antistatic tweezers are great quality, kept them too.The repair tape is...okay, my only problem with it is that it's so thin (the roll) that it started to unravel from the middle when I picked it up, it does a good job it's just super thin.Overall it's not a BAD kit, but it will help you repair your phones but don't expect them to last very long.If you found this review helpful, consider slapping that 'helpful' button, it sure makes typing these reviews worth it :)

This kit is aimed at someone who wants to dismantle their phone or laptop or some other delicate task where thin impliments are needed. Worth noting that alot of the tools are plastic and are, in part sacrificial in nature (you will be able to seperate what ever you want but the tool will be degraded in such a way that it wont be able to be used again).Good things worth noting;*Metal Pry tool-probably 90% of the cost of this kit is for this one tool!*reel of double sided tape-also immensly useful for more than what this kit is intended for.*micro screwdriver selection*selection of tools included*priceNot so good things worth mentioning;*some tools wont be able to be used twice, they will degrade as you use them, the edges will crach or warp (if you are using heat to soften glue)Overall recommended :)

Needed to replace battery in my phone which was sealed. Ordered this because of reviews and cheapness. Used its prising tool to lever a gap in the back of the phone without the use of a heat gun to soften original double sided tape. Slowly manoeuvred the tool around the edge to pry off the back of the phone. No need for anything else and back was completely free of any damage. Easily changed battery and replaced old tape with 2 rows of included double sided tape. Worked perfectly and secured the back well. Highly recommend this kit.

The adhesive is weak and the the screwdrivers are deformed easily but it does work and the plastic tools are very useful

Great tools.

The non-plastic tools appears to be durable when I use it to fix my phone. Although the plastic tools broke, especially the tip of plastic pry tool. Another problem is the sizes of the tool tips, it is too thick to pry on those very tight bonded parts or narrow gaps.All in all, the tools is usable for those simple DIY electronic repairs job, you'll get your money's worth. But for those high-end gadgets and complicated repairs, I recommend that let the experts handle these tools.

Value for money

Good kit to have if you tinker a lot with small electronics.Almost all tools you need, I have more screwdrivers in a different set, but for most mobiles the ones that comes with this set will suffice.All in all a good kit.

The opening pry was scratched by my MacBook Pro case and left dust in the case. It's better to have a computer vaccum on hand if the opening pry is used for battery replacement.
