I was looking for some butcher twine to tie my steaks so they stay in a more uniform shape on the grill. This was the most cost effective at the time of purchase. It came well packaged in a protective plastic wrap which I was pleased about. The gauge is fairly thick and the string is durable, suits its purpose well.
