Using this to check pressure on my irrigation well pump. This gauge is built well and was surprisingly a little heavy compared to some big box store gauges. Highly recommend this and shipping was fast!

I used this on a port of the back flow preventer in our yard irrigation system. We'd been having spotty coverage with some of our sprinklers, and working on the sprinklers themselves never really solved the problems. By using this pressure gauge I discovered the irrigation water pressure at the source was 45 PSI with no flow but dropped MUCH lower when a zone was running. I adjusted the irrigation system's pressure regulator to provide a better pressure even when a zone is active and now all of our sprinklers are working MUCH better and giving full coverage. In hind sight all of this is obvious but it all started by installing this gauge and getting real data on what was going on.

Got tired of getting down on my knees to read the old yellowed bottom mount gauge on my well. This back mount with a 45 degree brass ell made it easy to read standing up.

I bought this as a replacement on my well system. I have a variable speed well pump and noticed that the pressure was not matching the pump controller pressure setting. Before checking into the pump system I thought I would replace the pressure gauge. I got a new gauge from Amazon but it would not go below 10 psig. I tried to get it to zero but it would not. Amazon had a replacement here in 2 days and this one works great. Turns out the problem was with the old gauge and my system is working correctly!!
