Singer 1306 Start Sewing Machine, White

Love this. Have been looking for a simple and small but really functional machine for ages and it does the job. Can handle cotton, linen, fleece, stretch all totally fine. It's not going to cope with 5 layers of denim and you can't adjust the stich size - so bare that in mind! Good sturdy singer that doesn't break your arm to move around. There is only one only downside is that because its so light it does sort of dance around the table a bit. Ok if you hold it down?! I have a bigger machine for things like buttons etc. but I never bother getting it out anymore now that I have this. Love this guy ❤️

Worked well for reasonably priced item. Light easy to carry.

General machine sewing as yet unused. Expect satisfactory results. Simple to use , good design ando finish.

This is a lovely machine for a beginner to learn on or just to have as a simple 'repairs and maintenance' sewing machine. It is easy to set up and use and I've had no issues with it yet.The machine comes with the normal sewing foot already on the machine, plus a zipper foot and a buttonhole foot plus darning plate. There are also spare needles and a few bobbins and all the bits and pieces live in a little storage box that is taken on and off to access the bobbin.This has all the basics that I will need and is a great brand for a good price.

My 61 year old hand-operated machine, bought by my mum shortly after her wedding to make curtains for the first marital home, was badly damaged when I moved house three years ago. I was uneasy about replacing it with an electric machine because I thought it would be too complicated (all those special features I'd probably never use!) but this basic, beginner-friendly model is a dream to operate. The threading instructions could be a bit clearer but thanks to a helpful Youtube tutorial I was up and running within an hour of unboxing it.

I'm going to give it one star for the simple reason that I can't use it because of the socket, which isn't a 3 English socket and I'm going to return it.

I bought this sewing machine as I have already owned a Singer sewing machine and I really like the product. I like being able to sew my own cushions and covers for my sofa and chairs etc

It breaks the needle every time I use.
