Great read … didn’t want it to stop .. when’s the next one ?

Whether you know John or not this is a lovely read that takes you on a journey through his life. An honest tale of a simple rural childhood through to his adult life that is made wholly visual through his ease of story telling. A thoroughly enjoyable trip down memory lane, giving an interesting insight as he recalls experiences, places and people who have in some way or other shaped his life. An enterprising, lovely chap who I for one am grateful that he put words to paper for us to all enjoy !

Having know John and his family for many years it was lovely to read this book and read about John's life. It contained such a variety of tales, a really great read.

This book was an excellent read of local life over the years.

This is an amazing book full of information on the history and area and about people in John's life.Things I have learnt about my Grandfather (Boss) and farther.The only problem I have is, I wish I had the memory to put down in words, just like John has. So glad this book was mentioned to me.
