A fully fleshed out read, that still lets your imagination free.If you've read the Mates of the Zivon books, this one will be a keeper.You FINALLY learn what actually happen to the Zivonian people and their planet, and how Zoey and Dax reveal the truth.The love story is a slow burn, but does intensify the more you read.Some parts are predictable, but that's the order of nature, you reap what you sow.One critic, with all the hot sex going on, where are the babies? The best part, keep rooting for Zoey and Dax, they do get their HEA. Hum, how long will it last, that's something to consider.Loyal, determined, and hot, what female could ask for anything more in a male, and what male could ask for anything more in a female?

Beauty is never found on the inside first. It is always found on the outside first. So many people who have deserved love would probably never get it because we look at the outside first before we learn about the inside. These two souls who are meant to be together have been through their own types of hell. One will never be believed and the other sees themselves as unable to be loved. This story hit so many triggers for me that I laughed and I cried. I felt for them when they were in fear and were there for their redemption. I love a good redemption story and this is definitely one.

I enjoyed reading this book 📚 Zoey lives up to the meaning of her name "LIFE". I look forward to the next book.

I am enjoying this series, looking forward to the next book. The description of Dax does not match the cover. Look like the same model/guy is on the cover of every book in this series. Sorry. Still love the series.

Neat story of a woman who always tries to look on the positive side of things and gives a jailed alien another chance. You have to cheer on someone who takes responsibility. Ending was a twist with a HEA.

Zoey has been recovering from an auto accident so walks alot. She finds herself at the brig and meets Dax. Their story is filled with right and wrong. Enjoy

By the storyline. Did not predict most of it.Did like both characters and the build of their relationship progression

I liked the theme of this book, but I didn't like the Kruul stereotype. I was hoping there was actually going to be a small rebellious group that trying to clear their name just like Dax. I just think it was a missed opportunity to flip the script a bit.It isn't a bad story and I enjoyed the romance and all the chart, but I'm sort of sticking by my earlier decision that this series isn't for me because there just isn't anything new being brought to the table

Loved the story with Zoey, a woman of colour, and her attraction to a Zivonian prisoner, Dax. And when Dad escapes, she follows him on an amazing adventure. How Dax reveals the truth about what happened to him the night his planet was invaded and his people destroyed. But the journey to find out the truth will be long and painful but he will have Zoey to help him!! A great read!!

A group of human women were kidnapped by vicious aliens and then rescued by the Zivonions. They are treated with kindness and respect and yet Zoey spends alone time walking the corridors. Then she comes upon the brig and there is a prisoner alone.

It was a decent read. I liked the characters, and the storyline and the romance were both pretty good too. It wasn’t a very exciting read, but I liked it.
