True Classic Mens T-Shirts - Short Sleeve Crew Neck Plain Novelty T Shirt for Men, Pack of 1, Heather Gray, XL

I purchased a True Classic Tees Premium Fitted Men's T-Shirt in size XL, as the Amazon prompt mentioned that it was the size best suited for me. I double checked the size guidelines and confirmed that an XL was the one to get. When I received the shirt and wore it a few times, the following are my “PROS” and “CONS”: PROS: - The shirt arrived in a well sealed package. - I was very impressed with how soft and comfortable the t-shirt felt in hand and while worn. - I like how there was no physical tag sewn into the collar area, with info now printed on the interior collar. - The main selling point, being that the upper portion of the t-shirt is generally fitted to provide a more flattering profile, while the lower portion of the t-shirt has more material drape to hide bigger stomach/wastelines mostly works as advertised. - The collar opening is wide enough to nicely fit the neck without being too big and sloppy-looking. CONS: - Unless you have muscular-developed biceps, the arm hole openings on the sleeves are still a little bit “baggy”, and don’t match the models you see in the advertisements. My expectation was that the manufacturer would have used some sort of elastic in the sleeve openings to achieve a true “fitted” look. If your arms are bigger (either the result of time spent at the gym, or just by eating more carbs) then the sleeve openings may work for you, but if you are more average build, you may find the arm hole openings a bit disappointing. Certainly the sleeves are better than your average baggy t-shirt, but in my particular case they are not what I consider a “fitted” look. - At almost $30 per t-shirt, I might be happy paying that price IF the product delivered a true fitted overall appearance. I fall into the human scale category of being 50%tile, meaning that my height/weight/build/proportion is average, so the True Classic Tees Premium t-shirt should deliver a total fitted look as advertised. Having said all that, overall, I do like the product (I gave it 4 Stars), as it really is an evolved improvement of the classic t-shirt. If only the sleeve openings had a more fitted look, then I would have given it 5-stars.

I am 5’ 9” 190 pounds and it is a decent T-shirt. it is soft like all blended cotton shirts are and tagless is pretty common these days for a plain T shirt. The fit is a little better than say a Hanes or something. It is a little slimmer fitting and closer to the body which I do like. The length is good although its straight out the plastic bag and hasn't been washed yet but blended Ts generally don't shrink much. I was recommended a large but went with an XL since that’s what I normally like to wear comfort wise and after reading a review above mine, dude was same size as me and wished he went XL. Large is generally a little too tight on me. Overall I decided to try True Classic since they were on sale and like it ok but they are pricey and overhyped all over social media. probably won’t buy anymore because even at the sale price it’s still pricey and not that noticeable of a difference in fit for 2-3 times the price of other made in china blended material plain T shirts. The bundle packs give a little of a price break but not enough. If they were 2 for 20 or maybe 25 max then it would be worth it imo. After all its just a plain T and only good for around the house, as an undershirt, or maybe a quick run to the corner store at most.

Back when I first started getting True Classic they were great. Now it is a crap shoot if you get the made in China versions. Made anywhere else is terrible quality. The fabric just does not feel the same and the shirts are more boxy. If you do not get China your cotton is not as soft and if you do not get China or Vietnam your shirt will be more boxy. I have a closet full of their older stuff that fits my build perfectly but the newer stock is a total gamble. It is disappointing to see a brand built on a specific fit lose its consistency like this.

I’m 6.1, 205lbs and bought an XL. The shirt is so darn comfortable and fits great in the chest and shoulders. Only complaint is that the sleeves are longer than I would like. They fit 3/4 down the bicep. I would prefer them a bit higher to show off the guns

My husband got the mail and pulled out a CLEAR package with a grey men's t-shirt inside of it. He asked" Who's shirt is this?" I said, "Well, it was a Father's Day gift". I've ordered a MILLION things from Amazon and it either comes in a box or a Amazon type envelope that you can't see the contents. However, he loved the shirt. He is super picky about his t-shirts and loved it.
