Cuts were even in width and the color of the wood was beautiful. Light and smooth. You could add a wood protective if you wanted. Using for wedding center pieces. Love the variety of sizes. Bought large and they will work perfect for adding mason jars of flowers and other assorted candle holders. Loved them! No issues.

I agree with previous reviews that there are some stains and spots on some of them but that doesn't affect my projects, in fact, gives them character, adds to the rustic feel of my carvings--I carve and paint the pieces. Great value for the price, which is very affordable. The wood is easy to carve, the rustic look with the bark frame is perfect for my work. I will definitely buy these again.

These were great for wedding centerpieces under a lantern. They were so much more affordable than buying them one by one, but there is variation in size and shape when buying in bulk. They all worked perfectly fine.

These wood slices are the perfect size for decorating your home kitchen or even for events.

All 3 had small cracks, will likely not buy again.

I’m editing my review. I exchanged these for another box in case I just got a bad one and these are ouch better. They do have little spots on them but I plan to paint over them anyways. No holes this time and they’re shaped much nicer. Great for the price! I’ll probably order again for my shop and just hope the seller stays on top of their quality control! :) the third picture are the new ones I received and how I use them.I’m so disappointed with these. They all have holes in them, weird marks, and bark missing. I can’t use any of them and I was waiting to get them to get some orders out did my shop :( I’ll be returning them immediately.

It was very bad Basswood pieces this is second order I have from you first not bad at all ,This order is so poor for my hobby of Pyrography all have bad blemishI do understand that some wood have blemish but not every single piece you sentI will not recommend or use again very disappointed would give nil star if I couldHans Ahlen

I got lucky on this order some people said that not every piece is in great shape mild, knots what have you. But my order all the pieces are in great shape.

Clean, dry, smooth slices ready to be used. No signs of cracking or checking yet.

Only two pieces of wood don’t have cracks. I put pressure on the rounds and the cracks spread. I can see right around one of the knots so I know they are going to eventually fall out. All in all really not worth putting my art on. Huge dissapointment

The product is great, the bark hasn’t fallen off, the surface is nice and smooth, however there are notches in every piece. I was quite pleased that there was no cracks in the wood as some reviews said there was.. the notches can be worked with for projects but aren’t ideal for wood burning, I guess I will have to be extra creative with this batch!
