I'm 82 and have the usual assortment of metal step ladders, folding stools, and similar. This ladder is massively better, particularly as I become less agile and steady. The steps are extra wide and extra deep (8" vs my stepladder's 3") and it is sturdy, even with a 200# user (me) on it. Plus, it looks like a piece of furniture; I'm not ashamed to fold it up and leave it exposed in the rooms where I use it principally, for quick access.

I bought this for my closet because the shelving is too high for me to reach on my own. I was concerned about the sturdiness but it works great! I’ve used it in my kitchen, in my closet, and in my hallway to change the fire alarms. It’s very light weight and folds easily making it easy to store. Funny how much I was doubting this ladder while ordering it. After using it, it’s a great ladder. My husband felt the same way. Even the rails/top handle add to the security while climbing. I was concerned about there not being an elevated railing. All worked out just fine. Stable and secure, light weight.

Great ladder! A bit steep but the handle on the top and the wide steps combined make a stable safe ladder! Later: yesterday the handle came off because it was broken. No sign of damage but shattered inside. My husband is going to repair it for me but not a happy buyer.

On the first day I got this ladder, I started using it around the house when I installed my solar lights. Easy to fold and unfold. Carry with one hand. I also used it inside the house to replace new ceiling fans and lights with ease. High enough my head can touch the ceiling. It is sturdy enough stay foot firmly on the floor. I weigh 183 lbs. I am sure it would stand 200-300 lbs easily. I plan to store it between fridge and wall in my kitchen. I expect it would last a long time. I like it.

Sturdy and stable, compact, lightweight and six steps make for a great product at an expensive but reasonable price. This item exceeded my expectations. One of my friends saw it and prospered one as well. It is easy more move around and store.

Works, but if you are 200+ lbs then it rises some safety concerns. Most likely it will last, but I'd feel better after reinforcing the front bars, because they bend when I stand on it, because for some unknown reason they decided to orient them they way they did, ignoring all the logic. I guess they wanted to make it as flat as possible and eventually sacrificed the durability. I ask myself where was my logic when I bought it. Anyway, if you are light and like fancy stuff then overall this is a good looking ladder. 😉

I have a ledge wall that I need to access regularly. My heavy duty ladder is heavy and awkward to bring in from the garage. This new ladder is lightweight and much easier to handle than my fiberglass ladder. It also stores quickly and easily in my pantry.
