Should there be a safety seal on this?

I purchased the spray bottle and this, only the spray bottle had a safety seal

Can I soak my fruits and veggies in a water mix solution or must it be sprayed on directly? There are so many conflicting responses!

Soft or leafy produce such as lettuce, broccoli, strawberries, should be soaked in a water/Veggie Wash solution (1/4 cup in a large bowl or 1/2 sink of water). Soak 30-45 seconds, swish gently. Rinse well. For firm produce such as apples, grapes, tomatoes, potatoes, etc, spray Veggie Wash directly on, rub or agitate for 20 seconds or so, and rinse. I've used Veggie Wash for several years, including at my bed & breakfast, and believe it's a really good product. It rinses off easily, leaving no aftertaste.

Once opened, what is the shelf life?

Hello, While our Veggie Wash does not expire or have a shelf life, we recommend using within three years to guarantee effectiveness.
