I was looking to modernize my 90's xj600 and I liked the look of this tail light. I wasn't expecting it to be very bright, so I ordered auxiliary LED strips - but I honestly don't think I'll need them because this one is super bright! The size is perfect. The only reason I'm not rating 5 stars is because there is no license plate light. Sooo that's something I'll need to work around. Will update once I've got a few hundred miles on this light.

What I liked about this tail light is the style. It is well made and appears to be quite durable. One thing I didn’t understand about it was this: it has a mount for the license plate, but doesn’t have the required plate light incorporated in the fixture.. so why does it come with a plate mount????? The other thing it should have is a wiring diagram. The bullet connectors are crimp ons and are not that great. They will be removed for hard soldering. I gave the light fixture an overall rating of 4 stars for not having the wiring diagram or license plate light.Here is the wiring diagram in case you need it: Black is ground.... Red is Brake light... Yellow is Left turn. Orange is right turn.... Green is tail light..

Installed this on a custom mount on an older ATV. Seemed pretty good with the included license plate bracket. My main issue is that the slot for the license plate bolts is simply a bit too close together for my ATV license plate. I have a regular sized plate, and I'm not sure how legal it is to drill new holes in the plate to get this to fit.As far as the actual lights go, they seem to be pretty bright. I'm just using the blinkers and the running lights, as my ATV doesn't have brake lights. All of the LEDs seem to work. The metal seems to be decently thick, and everything seems sturdy enough.

This tail light does not come with a wiring diagram. why not? well i was able to overcome this however. i just used a power probe test light. i started off with the ground wire and started applying power to each wire until i found out what each one did. after that i went to the main wiring harness on my scooter and found out what color wires did what function. left , right, brake, etc. after that it was off to the races. so for the price and the 45-mins it took to figure out i would recommend you to buy this it worked great.

Ok, we'll start with negatives:Bracket does not fit standard motorcycle license plates (easy to fix with a drill) no wiring instructions, (easy to figure out by trying each wire)Bracket at odd angle (I removed light and hammered bracket straight) all said not bad if you can work with hands a bit and modify

Fits my bike pretty well as far as looks go. My only real complaint is the brightness of it. I mean definitely passable. Just not as bright as that other review I saw. Hook up was easy to figure out. Hardware is tiny and the wires are thin. All in all pretty good. I'll update this about durability. I ride everyday so I'll put it to the test

Easy to install on my Triumph motorcycle. Plenty bright and clear signaling and brake lights.

Only complaint is kinda small figured it still would have been a little wider and there's no license plate light
