Go with the boomstick instead
Product works but only slightly amplifies your headphones. Will not work on anything that has a built in amplifier. Instead of spending 20 on this, spend 10 on a boomstick and get more bass.

Worked great while it lasted.
I bought this in July and by December it no longer was functional. For the time that it worked it was great

the boost in volume and tuning of sound are not worth the extra work for me
as an amplifier the increase in power was insignificant to the ear in regards to loudness, as for audio improvement the highs were higher and the lows were more pronounced but the balance seemed off. i don't think the average listener will use it continually and a audiophile would probably prefer something better balanced or adjustable

Sound boost is minimal.
I bought 2 of these because when I plug my android into an audio port, it automatically lowers the volume (assuming it's a headphone jack). So this buy (I bought 2 of them) was meant to boost the volume.If it boost it at all, it's nominal. I try playing my phone through this amplifier and by bypassing it and the volume doesn't sound any different. So it's a waste.

It didn't work on my home stereo as much as i was hooping for but in my headphones. Wow. This little package delivers a hell of a punch. Super clean packaging, SUPER easy to use.

Did absolutely nothing for me. Pretty blue LED though!
Charged up fine. Light showed charging like it should.No on/off switch, but when I plugged into the input jack, the blue light came on.However, absolutely no noticeable amplification for me.None.Zero.Rolled the dice and lost a couple of bucks on this one. Irritated too, because it looked like it would work well. Alas, it was not to be.Try something else.

Solid bass boost. Paired it with the Audio-Technica ATH-WS1100iS headphones which already have solid bass but I wanted a bit more.Edit: Feels like the charging cable provided isn't meant for this amplifier. Weird. Not sure if it's actually charging or not.

Great volume!
It's exactly what I was looking for!!! I have a cheapie portable DVD player and the volume only goes up to '20'. I bought this specifically to use on airplanes and it does the job perfectly!
