Gargeer Grassland Tortoise Topper is a simple way to upgrade the nutrition of salad greens, fruits, vegetables, and pellets. Formulated for the following tortoise species, Sulcata, Russian, Greek, Desert, Pancake, Leopard, Hermann’s, and other Grassland Tortoises. Review: Bean Tested and Approved - I got this for my Sulcata tortoise Bean a while back. I was worried he might not be getting enough nutrients because I could only ever feed him grass or maybe some rose and hibiscus flowers and leaves but all those quickly became an option no longer when the Arizona summer hit and made a BBQ out of our roses and hibiscus and after I began to realize that our grass is NOT sanitary enough, with several dogs that constantly use it as their bathroom and the amount of chemicals used on it for weeds or cleaning up the dog smell, to be giving to the tortoise so I switched over to store bough leafy greens and some of this and it has worked wonders. I couldn’t help but laugh a little as well because the first time I put it on his food, he went to TOWN on that lettuce and would do a full blown tortle sprint over to his food bowl if I grab that packet. I would fully recommend it to others who feel they might not be giving their tortoise friends enough nutrients! Review: My Tortise didn’t like it - Seemed great but unfortunately my Tortise didn’t like it. ## Features - ESSENTIAL NUTRITION. Boost your tortoise’s health with GARGEER SALAD TOPPER. Those ingredients along with the other vitamins and minerals are added to the formula to boost the nutrition but not replace your normal supplementation. However, the only way to know if you are over supplementing is to have a vet check the vitamin D levels of your tortoise. We recommend supplementing with our Gargeer Calcium, it's phosphorus-free, so you can supplement without the risk of hyper-calcemia. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bean Tested and Approved *by M***M on December 16, 2024* I got this for my Sulcata tortoise Bean a while back. Basically there is always a picky eater in the group *by D***T on December 20, 2025* I have Desert Tortoises and they did not like this. I think Russian Box Tortoises would love this as they tens to enjoy a variety of foods. Desert Tortoises are a bit picky when they are kept in captivity. I gave this to my friend who has Russian Box Tortoises and they really enjoyed it. So it really depends on the typ of Tortoises you are feeding ## Frequently Bought Together - Gargeer 2oz Desert/Grassland Tortoise Food Supplement, Flower Salad Mix Topper.
