Considering this is a fairly hard plant to grow from seed, these worked well. We did a stratification on a moist paper towel for 30 days and 60 days. Both seemed to germinate well. I can't give exact numbers because I didn't need 100, so I doubled and sometimes tripled them up. What I didn't realize is that these can stay small for a long time if the conditions aren't right. They grew quickly to about 1" in height and then just worked on their tap root for a while before growing any further. I started these in a greenhouse, and they essentially just made the tap root during that time. Now they are outside plugging away, but the first year they didn't grow much at all. Maybe 4-5" at most. I am in zone 3 in Fairbanks so our growing season is short. We will see if they take off this year.

I had 21 that came up. I had more than that but I dropped them and only ended with the 21. These seeds do work im not sure if people just dont germinate and take their time like they should or what. The other reviews saying they dont get any is crazy. I would reorder from this seller again.

I got these in today and I saw that several people didn't get the correct amount. It looked a little short, so I counted. 78 seeds and a few pieces of bark. I'm trying to give these the best chance possible since I'm in zone 8, so having all the seeds would have helped. I know these have a slow germination, so im being patient. I may change the rating later if these turn out well. QC is definitely lacking though.

These seeds take a little time to grow. I speeded up process by using wet paper towels and placing in a ziplock bag and on top of a germination heating pad. So far all have germinated that I’ve started so far. I’ve potted some but nothing yet.
