Does this keep you cool while sleeping on it?

The answer is YES. I've seen several people answer and say "there is no "cooling effect", but it doesn't get quite as warm like other fabrics", or "I don't know if it keeps me cool but I haven't been overly hot since using it". That's because the material keeps you cool. It's not an air conditioner; cool air isn't blowing through it. However, in the Summer or warmer days your body will NOT be hot. Thus, it helps keep you cool.

How well does this regulate tempature.?I sleep very hot and want something that is cooling

I sleep hot too. Not sure how ot does it exactly . I find that the bed stays cooler and I get a much better sleep.

How thick is this product when placed over your mattress?

You can definitely feel the difference once placed on your mattress. I have an ultra plus mattress and didn't think it would make a difference but it has. Lifetime warranty to boot.

I have a queen size bed, should I use king size sheets so it will fit nicely?

Yes I also like to use king size but to be honest it covers all comers of the mattress by using the king size sheets all it will do is add too much material under the mattress. The scrunch corners never roll up Or flap up they stay locked in place is u like extra pull room for your covers when u get under them if it’s tucked under the mattress that will work fine too
