If you are into grape or forced sex fantasy then this is the book for you! It explains the fantasy so well and gives the reader reassurance that it’s okay to like this kind of fantasy through the main character. After reading this book I was able to discuss the fantasy with my partner in a more confident way knowing I’m not the only one into this.Fantastic plot which didn’t just end after one exciting adventure and it really builds the characters. Best bit is you can’t predict what is going to happen! I loved that!

Ryat and Blake were just on another level, the spice in this and their chemistry was just insane *chefs kisses*Overall this such a great read, it was fast pace, of plot twists, tension, suspense and the chemistry between all the characters was fantastic. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series!🖤⚠️This is an extremely dark romance, please check for triggers⚠️

Loved it, my first dark romance and really enjoyed the plot. Kept me gripped the entire time. Looking forward to reading the next one by Shantel

Its an ok book, but it lacks alot of detail, some of the sentences don't make sense, from the beginning its abit dark which is ok its fantasy but i thought it was getting good half way through, i thought we were seeing more of blakes character but it actually declined, spoiler alertAfter the divorce test i thought she was going to b a strong powerful character but she wasn't, this was by favourite bit of the book & the situation with cindy, but after this & the divorce test it just felt rushed & alot of it didn't make sense

This is my first read by Shantel and also my first dive into dark romance.OH MY G!! I ATE IT UP!!I am now in love with the L.O.R.R.S and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.It’s dark,depraved and spicy as hell. And Ryat is just perfection. I love the whole secret society trope and all the mystery and secrets through the plot.Absolute 5⭐️ from me!

I've seen it pop up on my feed several times so even though it wasn't on my August tbr I dived right in. This book has drama, suspense, murder and lotssssss of spicy smut. You get to read about the world of L.O.R.D.S which is very interesting to say the least. I want to read the other books in the series to get to know more of their society.Ryat Alexander Archer may be morally grey however deep down hes soft.. especially for Blakely. I loved this couple, their starting may not have been a fairytale but by the end it was perfect. The twists and turns in their love story will have you hooked!The spice in this book is just wow, had me in a chokehold. It had everything, I did love how Ryat actually cared for Blakely as their relationship developed. I've no idea how Blakely was even able to stand at times by the amount of times and ways Ryat claimed her, no complaints LOL“I want to be your good girl.” I groan at the sound of her voice—so eager to please me. “You are,” I tell her.Only two things that weren't really for me was pregnancy trope (just my preference) and I felt the book was perhaps abit too long, though I guess there wouldn't have been as many smutty scenes lolIf you enjoy dark romances with different kinks of spice and crazy plots then GRAB this book!

This is to romance what full frontal is to art photography. Beauty for some, offensive for others. Well developed characters include a charming young sadist who, despite enthusiastic torture and killing, lingers in the memory more for his seductive charm than his sadism. Does not shy away from… well, anything much. Dialogue, pace and plot (twists) earn a must-read-in-24-hours full five stars for me.

I absolutely loved this book and Ryat & Blake are perfect for each other.I felt so sad for Blake as everyone had lied to her and then when she found out it seemed to break her a little but I think having Ryat in her corner made her come back stronger.I loved what happened to Cindy, Ashley, Valerie and Jake but I’m sad that Matt got off so lightly, after what he did to Blake and the abuse she suffered that man needed to suffer soo much so I was disappointed with his outcome.I did love the Ryat epilogue 18 years later giving us a glimpse in to their lives long after the suffering they went through.Greta start to the series so I will start Sinner tomorrow and see what that one is like.

This book has everything you can ask for, plot twist, suspension, romance, etc. I highly recommend! You will not regret it

Rust and Blakely are both such great complicated characters! Omg and the sex scenes… good lord!!! Definitely my kind of book. Mystery, suspense, highs and lows. And lots and lots and lots of different kinks!

Ryat e Blake são imperfeitos e perfeito ls juntos.Tem tanto coisa acontecendo que você fica igual Blake se perguntando se alguma tido isso é real ou um jogo.A luta deles para ficar junto é bonita e o livro te prende.Só tenho uma coisa a reclamar, apesar de amar h0ts esse livro tem demais, não tem necessidade de tanto um pouquinho menos deixaria o livro mais interessante., mas não tirei nenhuma estrelinha porque isso é questão de gosto e não tem nada a ver com a escrita e o enredo.
