This item is absolutely awesome! I can only use the cards that came with it. I didn't realize there were different playing card sizes. So we won't be able to use it for our regular playing cards. :(

Unless you’re into miniature playing cards this thing won’t fit regular size play cards, return immediately after unboxing!

This item was an immediate pleaser for my spades group. Passed it back and forth between tables. I may consider buying additional units as my group regains attendance following startup after pandemic. The only complaint I got was it deals counter clockwise which to me is not a big deal. I did need to train my group to field the cards on the bounce. Some tried to catch them resulting in the cards flipping over and bouncing around. LOL. That was actually funny. Once you are aware it tosses the cards out at a brisk rate things go smoothly.The only thing that keeps it from getting 5 stars instead of 4 is it only works with bridge size cards, not poker size. There is only a quarter inch difference so should not be difficult to make a unit that works identically with poker size decks and with a little ingenuity be flexible enough to work with either size decks. Pull that off and I will definitely buy again and give 5 stars.UPDATE 9/23/2023Thought I would update the review since we have more experience with it. The unit deals cards counter clockwise which was a major complaint from many in my group. The settings would appear to indicate this can be changed but have not been able to change the setting. Minor issue for me but some have refused to use it because of this. They are just too used to dealing clockwise. The unit did not come with any instruction manual and I have been unable to locate one online. I tried Baufon.com but this took me to a Chinese language site which was useless.I already dropped it a star due to only handling bridge size cards. I would have wanted to give 4.5 but the system did not allow that. So going to leave rating at 4 stars.

This would have been a great product if only it fit standard size 3.5x2.5in playing cards in USA. What a shame!The machine works quite well with bridge size cards (3.5x2.25in). I am keeping it.It only deals counterclock wise even though there is setting to change this but the setting itself does not toggle. Don't know if it's by design or glitch.

You cant use normal cards

The dealer has worked great with the variety of cards we have thrown at it. We have only had a couple of instances where it hiccuped and stopped dealing. The buttons don't do what the labels state, but once you fiddle with it for a while you can adjust the settings consistently and efficiently. The only setting that doesn't change is the CW/CCW toggle to change the rotation direction, but that isn't a big deal. The dealer cast the cards about 12" so if you are playing on a 24" folding table it will throw them off the edge if you don't orient it properly, or have something to catch the cards. It is very gentle on the cards, which is why I bought it, and easy for the kids to use.
