These lenses are transparent, so if you are looking for an opaque black lens, they do not do this.In terms of authenticity, the retailer was Gaffos, which on their website says they are guarantee authenticity. The packaging comes with Safilo barcode and packaging, which was the manufacturer for Celine sunglasses up until 2016. That makes sense. There is no hardcase, only the soft packaging and the paper case. There is no celine authenticity. I suspect they purchase from Safilo before it goes to Celine.I was shocked at how thing the acetate was on these frames, but compared to other pictures online which also showed a thin frame. I cannot decide if these are fake or not. If they are real, Safilo was not a a great manufacturer. I tried on new models at a department store (updated style) and they were much thicker and felt more solid. The quality of newer frames is higher I believe, but they also cost $400-500.I think I will keep them--they are the perfect Audrey hepburn look, they have a nose piece for comfort, and I rather lik the thinnest of the frames. They don't feel as "expensive" as the newer models do, and thats where I question the authenticity.

This came in the mail, i returned because obviusly they are not the ones in the picture, they are not celine, they are not authentic

As soon as I got these in the mail, I knew I would be returning immediately. The quality of these were very cheap I found. I have (2) other pairs of Celine's and they are very sturdy/thick so compared to these ones, it felt paper thin! I also didn't like the nose piece as it was flimsy. The lenses are also transparent so in whole, I felt these were fake although they seemed genuine with the case they came in.
