ALTRATorin 5, Black, 11.5

Torin 5 black shoes look really good. However, there's an expanding hole or tear at the tip of the fabric near my big toe after only 4-5 weeks of wearing it. I only use the shoes for walking, not running or any other sports activities, so that makes it more disappointing that it would get a tear like that. Definitely some quality control issues.

What a terrible design flaw! The upper tip of the tongue tapers to a thin, sharp edge that cuts (literally _cuts_) into the front of my ankle. All it took was an easy five mile run aiming to break in the shoes… I was bleeding by mile 3. I point out that this is not an issue of wearing the shoes in: these are sharp plastic edges that, as far as I can tell, would be there even after logging hundreds of miles, if you could somehow bear it. How is it possible that a major shoe company could make such a blatant design mistake? I didn’t even look at the reviews because I’ve loved the predecessor Torin models so much. If you’re reading this, you didn’t make my mistake. Congratulations! .

I hate this shoe. The tongue is made out of some kind of hard plastic and it literally hurts me while wearing them.Unfortunately I missed the Amazon return window of 30 days. But the company sent me an e-mail saying if I need anything to contact them. So I did. Then they sent me back to Amazon since that's who I bought the shoe from. Why send me an e-mail if you're just going to send me back to Amazon?Horrible shoe, and subpar customer service. I could not be less pleased.

The shoes for some reason seem to push my heels forward and cause my toes to smash into the front of the shoe. I can force my heel back, but when I'm walking it just doesn't work. It's not a problem with the shoe size. It's strange because the shoe seems good otherwise, but is unusable for me.
