Men's 559 Relaxed Straight Jeans (Seasonal)

I just wanted a pair of basic durable jeans - not ones that were already ripped or had fancy stitching on the pockets or were so low on the waist that they showed - well, you know - when I bent over. I was getting a bit disgusted with other brands as they seemed not to be made very well and sometimes the fabric lost its shape after just one wash - never to fit right again even though I'm a fairly small person. I had not had a pair of Levi's in many years, but I was feeling a bit nostalgic for my old 501s and the fabric they were made from. These are just about that. They are comfy, look pretty durable and they fit pretty well. They look stylish, but I feel I can wear them cleaning house or working on other projects without worrying that they will fall apart. I purchased a pair of 550s at the same time, but in a different fabric. I could say pretty much the same thing about them. Can't decide which pair I like best, but I've come back to Levi's.

Levi's 559 has always been my favorite jeans for casual wear. They fit perfectly for my size, which is athletic but not huge (huge would be 550 or just very baggy). Also, the color and subtle shades are as good as the jeans that I have that cost 6 times more. Great jeans, great fit (with a belt), and really great color. My only minor complaint is the waste seems to have gotten slightly larger for the same size, or the pants slightly baggier only on the top so that they slide down without a belt. This has not happened before and I am the same waste size. I don't know if it is to shift more to the baggy wear the kids enjoy without a belt, or the style is not as 70's with a belt (which is good), but when I wear a belt problem solved and the fit is A+.

I've had different brands of straight fit jeans. I'm 6'1 and 190. Usually I wear Calvin Klein 34x30 jeans. I like my length just a hair short, more of a modern fit. Compared to the CK, the inseam is the same. However. The total length of the jean is about 1.5 inches shorter than the CK jeans. They ride that much lower on the hip, and the CK was labeled low on the hip. It's also a bit slimmer fitting than the CK. Waist is spot on. I'd say this is a bit slim for a relaxed jean. I did wash it once, and there is no perceivable shrinkage. I think the material is a bit rough. The grey color has a bit of a rougher texture than the blue color. Not sure why. Also, I'm very sensitive and like really soft jeans. These aren't that soft. I wore them for 3 full days, hoping they'd break in. I think they will, but needs more time. I feel like I want to rip them off after a few hours. Overall, I think this pair fits true to size in terms of waist and inseam. They are a bit slim for a relaxed cut. And the material is a bit rough.

I bought these for my boyfriend. He is picky about his jeans, but I found that Levi's makes exactly what he needs. He says they are comfortable and fit nicely. They don't have any of that flashy stuff. Just a nice pair of jeans. They are great for any type of outfit whether he is working around the yard/shop or going out for a casual dinner. There is also a really wide variety of them here on amazon. I snatched up about 5 pair for him. All arrived on time, looked great, fit great, and he was pleased! I saw a few reviews stating that these weren't true to size. If you have a pair of Levi's already... these will fit the same. There are a few different fabric types, but over all it didn't effect the fit. Like I said, I bought a few different styles/fabric types and they all fit him the same. If you aren't sure, head to the store and try on a pair. It is likely you can get them cheaper on here!!!

I checked several local stores for this jean in size 34 X 32 and none of them carried it or were always out of stock. I was a bit apprehensive ordering jeans online because I usually like to look through a couple pairs to find one without flaws or with a good look to the fading. The clincher for me is the great return policy with Amazon, so I ordered them knowing it wouldn't be a big deal to return them. I got mine for $39 bucks which is the lowest price I've seen. They shipped in a sealed plastic pouch so there was very little packaging waste. When I opened it the jeans were perfect and exactly what I had ordered. I really like the Indie Blue color and the faint distressed look on the front, but most of all they fit me and they are very comfortable. Thanks again Amazon! And to the local stores...sorry I tried.

I needed an all black pair of jeans for some of the work I do so I tried these out. The fit was surprisingly perfect for me. I'm about 6'3 and 200lbs (thin frame) and ordered 32x32. The black pair of work jeans I bought fit so well I thought I'd try another color for normal wear. Just received them and they fit exactly like the other pair. It's possible Levi's has sorted the sizing inconsistencies that over reviewers report, or I just have been lucky, or maybe it's only with certain colors. Build quality seems to be much better than some other Levi's I've had in the past that have worn out way too fast and seem super thin and cheap. I'm actually very happy with these jeans and will order more in different colors. Oh, and the amount of colors they come in is also very cool.

Absolutely love them. I use to wear Levi's all the time in my teenage years and was a huge fan of the Silvertab brand. When I got older I also added a considerable amount of weight and the sizes available were limited to bigger sizes. Now that I've been dieting and feeling great about my appearance I decided to go back to a nice pair of Levi's (still not a slim fit kinda guy) and these are very comfortable. I ordered the 33x32 which after wearing a few days feel great though I've broken them in enough that I need a belt now. Overall not baggy, nice fit and sit low on hips. Always worth the price.

I got these at the same time as a pair of Wrangler relaxed fit jeans. I ended up keeping the Wrangles and sending these back. Both pairs fit well. I've been wearing 44x30 pants for years and know what to expect. These were a great length, not to short, not to long, and they fit well in the waist, with room to spare. However, the material (twill) is a thin type of smooth denim, and probably more suitable for dress blue jeans, while the Wranglers were more of the typical, thicker denim that I've come to expect in blue jeans for more rugged use. The Levis were also cut a bit tighter in the upper thigh, not bad, but just tighter than the Wrangler jeans. When I put on the Wranglers, they just felt "right", and I didn't want to take them off. Kind of a personal thing that you don't know until you try them on, which is why I appreciate Amazon's great return policy. So, again, the Levis jeans fit well, and seem well made, but just weren't for me.

gutes produkt, guter sitz, stoff ist völlig in ordnung. ev. sind die nähte nicht ganz so, bei mir bei einer naht, seh ich nicht so dramatisch. der versand dauerte sehr lange- neg. , daher nur 4 sterne.

Las imágenes presentadas son de un color azul muy parejo, y recibí un modelo muy desgastado y lavado. Aunque traía toda las etiquetas, las bolsas (ambas) contenían tierra y mucha pelusa, por lo cual, dudo que sea un pantalón nuevo.

took old jeans and ordered the same. Same brand, same stile and same size. Color was only different. Fits and looks as expected.
